NTS has replaced 6 music as my go to radio. Eclectic, modern and absolutely about the music. I’ve heard so much new, previously undiscovered music from NTS.
Infinite mixtapes are genius. Random archive mixes cheer up dismal afternoons and the regular shows give you a lot of the unexpected.

Great app, however..
Great app.
The very first time you open it, it looks like it’s stuck on a loading screen?
I thought it was stuck and the bar was not moving but it was actually a progression bar. Really strange and i closed the reopened the app multiple times because it looked frozen.

Amazing Station but App has Issues
Love NTS but a couple of things with the app:
- destroys the battery. Using the NTS app to stream runs my battery down in about 3 hours. Using Apple Music to stream NTS, the battery is fine all day.
- no resume. Some of the shows are multiple hours long. If you click into another show and then go back, the previous show starts again from the beginning. There should be a resume and a way to mark episodes as played.Show lesszappy_d
UI suggestion
I really like the app, phenomenal selection of music, curated by quality selectors and artist. I just have one suggestion, having used the app for a while, I’d really like an icon that would tell me if I’ve listened to a show already. Small thing, but very helpful! CheersDGScott1
Great Radio, Amazing App with Frequent Updates
I’ve been an NTS supporter for a few years and it’s been awesome watching the app get steadily better over time as each feature I’ve dreamt of gets added. First with the ability to save individual tracks from a show and now in the latest update with live track listing for pre-recorded shows the NTS app is such a killer way to find and save new music.

Best Online Station Out There!
Been supporting NTS for some years now and I’m always happy to tune in! Some things I wish the app included which are on the website are the Genres page (in the app sometimes I forget all the diff genres that one can search for), as well as the “Focused” option when looking for a specific genre, and the “Music Only” option as well. They just make it easier to narrow a search. If I wanna listen to Dub Techno, I wanna listen to Dub Techno ya get me?? Other that, love it and listen on my commute allllllll the time. Running hot!
I love the station and listen to it all the time, however the latest version of the app is pretty hard on the battery. It’s always been a bit of a battery hog, but now when I use it on mobile data the phone (iPhone 13) gets extremely hot. I’ve tested with other music streaming apps and it’s definitely only NTS which causes the issue. It also makes battery evaporate. I lost like 10% on a half hour train ride! Love NTS! A few tweaks to be made on app
First of all, I love NTS, what a great concept, great station, awesome treasure trove of music. The app is generally good however still some bugs on past episodes not generating meaning users miss out, playback not working on how far you’re into an episode, searching for lists that don’t appear properly, so definitely room for improvement! All in all though, a revelation, keep up the amazing content and development :)Show lessjackssamuel
