Why do they need your personal info??
I used to use a packing list app from a different developer and it was excellent. But unfortunately the app no longer exists so I tried this app.
I was surprised that this app asked me for the dates I would be traveling and also my gender, etc. I don’t want to give any dates that I’ll be gone to strangers for a safety reason. I don’t understand why they want to get my personal info. I just want to create a packing list. So I skipped that part but then I couldn’t create a packing list unless I would have to pay for the premium version or to watch ads.
I’m willing to pay for a good app but an app like this should be worth a few bucks for one time payment. But the price they are asking is ridiculous. Because you know, how many times a year would you use an app like this??

Packr uses the travel dates to tailor the list depending on the expected weather at your destination. The app is completely anonymous so we actually don't know who you are or where you live. Moreover, the gender is asked to adapt the packing lists. If you are a man, you won't be needing feminine hygiene products. Sorry this app wasn't what you expected.

I had a challenge with the family sharing of purchases (lifetime purchase) and was quite cynical about whether it would even be worth reaching out for help. This feeling has been replaced as fast as the reply we received (within the hour), and the issue was resolved. I look forward to seeing how the application goes for me now that this barrier is gone.

Amazing organization and functionality!
I’m a type A and love to plan. This app is wonderful! I love the recommendations and customizations. I plan my clothes a little differently for trips, but I was able to remove the default recommendations and enter my own plus add my own categories. As a woman, I like a hair checklist and skin care checklist and make up checklist. It was so easy to create! The only thing that could make this app perfect, in my eyes, would be the ability to reorder the items in a list (drag them up/down). Maybe it’s there and I couldn't figure it out?

Tapping the edit button in both the Trip packing list and when you customize the default lists will allow you to reorder items by dragging them up/down. 😇 The edit button is at the bottom right when viewing a trip list. The edit button is at the top right when customizing the default lists.

This is a short review since I’ve only used the app for a couple of minutes. But I’m planning a trip to Hawaii with my family and the app has been pretty good for the most part, a lot of stuff is hidden behind premium blockers, but the app is still functional if you don’t want to pay. I also like the fact it has things you can do in the area that you’re traveling for so you don’t have to do it separately. Pretty good all things together. However, I wish a few premium options would be available in the free version. Like adding notes to certain items. That’s all from me folks!

Fantastic app & support
I’ve used Packr as a Premium user since 2019 and rely on it to help me take the right things for all my travel. I love the standard lists AND the ability to add custom lists to fit my unique needs. For example, sometimes traveling with a cello, sometimes traveling with just a carry-on or sometimes traveling with checked bag(s) — 100% necessary to take hiking poles, for example. Customizable to business or leisure trips or both.
Jeremie is always super-responsive to any questions, and especially was a joy to work with to troubleshoot a self-induced issue from not updating the app for a really, really long time (oops!).
I’m impressed with the continual improvement in the app, and I love having the ability to print lists, too! I have a lot of things I keep pre-packed and ready-to-go, and having a printed list stored with the physical things makes it SO easy!

Super app

Amazing packing app
I was packing for Coachella and this made my life so much easier because I was dealing with a health problem that made me very uncomfortable and not feel like myself. A month or so in advance, I was brainstorming things I wanted to pack and had come up with a preliminary list. Then as I was packing for the few days before leaving for the trip, I was adding as I went. Finally I finished everything on my list and I didn’t know what else to bring. I had to sleep and then leave in 6 hours lol. It was great!! I didn’t forget anything. I really like the layout of this app. Sometimes it can get confusing with lists and removing stuff in lists it asks you if you want it removed forever, i just ignore them and it seems to work out fine since i dont really need to pack for trips that frequently. It works well for when you want an app that’s not your Notes or Reminders app

Multi destination trips don’t save
I paid for the premium services but every time I try and add a multi destination trip it doesn’t save. Very frustrating to use.
Complete waste
Don’t bother with this app. I was hoping for a basic app for free to track packing items but it is just a money grab to upgrade you to a premium membership. Don’t waste your time
