Consistent to Use
I currently reside in Northern Ireland and have, over the years been a constant Costa fan. When I moved to Northern Ireland over 5 years ago, I discovered that the card I had over on the UK Mainland no longer was recognised over here (different franchises etc was the explanation I received), I now required two cards for both sides of the water? This lack of consistency with branding changed my opinion towards Costa.
So, I started out with Nero and was pleasantly surprised to see the complementary drink offers linked to the use of their in phone app. Their coffee also tasted wonderful and I soon got into the swing of using the app to pay and receive automatic loyalty stamps towards my next free drink. I soon became the owner of my own Nero cup and take it with me everywhere I travel. The branding of Nero remains consistent regardless of which side of the water I am on.
Great piece of software and congrats on another Nero customer.

From an App sceptic, Nero app is great!
For starters, consistently the best quality high octane coffee out there, keep it going guys!
Now the app, I design processes so I generally consider apps and the accompanying processes a real faff with little return for the inconvenience of using them, however the Nero app is simple, works just like the paper version plus the extras... I’m of little faith when it come to winning big, BUT ‘shake to open the cracker’ shaking a cracker is so much more fun than pressing a button! When I shake it my feelings are like the expressions I see on the face of my five year old son, either utter wry disappointment on a naff joke, or visible joy when winning a stamp! ...a great moments fun! Reality is, rather than carrying loads of stamped cards I carry loads of digitally stamped cards; my next game is just symmetry (and bragging rights over my wife on our Saturday morning coffee stop); can I get 1 fully stamped 3x3 card, plus another 9 fully stamped cards before using them... 👍🏻😄

Almost perfect
I'm sure that the app will expand in terms of functions and offers in future, but for the moment, just to get people abandoning the paper loyalty cards, this does a great job.
I have been meaning to ditch the paper cards for ages and finally downloaded the app to achieve this. Initially I could not seem to register, either via my email address or Facebook, but after 24 hours I was able to register, so perhaps there was a glitch in their system.
My only gripe, which isn't a big one, is that when scanning to get a stamp for my coffee, the app seems to take a while to update with that new stamp. During my first few uses I thought that the stamp had not been awarded, but it does eventually show. So if there was an improvement to be made, it would be to enable the app to be as close to real-time updating as possible.

Simple, Easy and Rewarding
Cafe Nero not only offer the best coffee on the high street in my opinion, with 2 shots at the same price as one and far superior taste to Costa and Starbucks. It also has the best and more rewarding app! 9 purchases and a free drink! Extra rewards in addition with seasonal offers and load your card onto the app to pay and collect reward at the same time making it incredibly easy. Interface is good with a attractive design and so far I have found no bugs! It is miles ahead of its competitors.
I have used both Starbucks and Costa reward apps, both of which are more complicated and less rewarding. For example Starbucks you have to add money on to it first!! Erm no... and Costa it just seems to take forever to build up any points worth while.
Thanks Cafe Nero! Keep up the good work
