  • Just downloaded, doesn’t open, just crashes

Looked good so just downloaded, but doesn’t open, just crashes back to home screen.
  • Essential productivity app

MindNode has been my spatial planning tool of choice since Version 4. Now V6 has been released with some important updates, at no charge for recent V5 purchasers. One feature that I specifically requested is being able to edit multiple items on iPad like the Mac OS app. Thank you for listening and adding this feature. Of course I appreciate the free update; I’m also good with purchasing major upgrades when the time comes. Just keep doing what you do best. Here are a few quick comments about the product. It has been rock solid with a very uncluttered UI. Import / export modes simplify moving data between apps and quickly creating a complex mind map in MindNode. Theme chooser and outline view work great and stay out of the way until needed. Kudos

Update: This is still an excellent app. There are a few features that would make it even better. First, the ability to copy and paste object styles. Second, the ability to assign horizontal and vertical layouts per level; I would like an org chart layout that is horizontal at the top and vertical below each branch for example.

  • Brilliant for Brain Dumps

I have a super busy mind and this app is great for organising my thoughts and getting them out of my head! I use it for business and home. Fantastic communication tool for new projects.
  • Really love it

Really helps me break down school assessments and study and helps me collect my thoughts.
Would love some of the premium features to be free though but I don’t mind that much it’s still great to use and simple.
  • Really nice app! Wish it had more layout options.

Just decided to check this app out again and see how it’s developed over the years, and...wow! I absolutely love how easy it is to use a bluetooth keyboard and quickly blast out a mind map.

The only issue I have is that my brain wants to see the information flowing down, and Mind Node only allows horizontal maps, as far as I can tell. This horizontal real-estate also means it’s not very well suited to split-screen mode on the iPad, which is something I need to use while brainstorming.

  • Versus MindManager

I absolutely love this tool. For basic mind mapping for what I’m doing, it is absolutely convenient and elegant. My clients love it when I’m building a mindmap using this tool. I love it as I can start on my Mac Mini, pick it up on my iPad, and capture a thought when on the run with my iPhone...all in the same map! Fantastic.

  • I wish school introduced this to me for my ADHD!!!

This has been SO MUCH better for me and my ADHD than traditional note apps like Apple Notes, Evernote, Google Docs etc.. I can find anything I’ve beer written. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add the option to include audio recordings and videos (even just short ones) like how these’s a picture feature. It would make this app PERFECT for organizing my thoughts with references to other formats as my sources. PLEASE AND THANK YOU. 💙

  • Superbly crafted for iOS, this app focuses on productivity

Each time I use this app, I'm impressed again at how intuitive I find it. For example: When using a keyboard, cursor keys navigate to the most likely node in any given direction - even if it's attached to a different root node.

Somehow that's just what I want and expect, and MindNode engineers and designers got it right.

I also love how I'm not overwhelmed with unwanted distractions while using the app : by making the interface and mechanisms familiar to iOS users, and by keeping the menus short and focused on the primary task, I am able to transfer my ideas to the canvas as quickly as possible.

  • No customer service

I purchased the program in 2018 for my Mac. Just emailed support today with an upgrade question and received an auto response from the company. The response contained only the text of my email. No message regarding them being in touch, no response timeline , no instructions. What’s the point in getting my email back?

If you claim to have customer service, please provide actual customer service. A notice of received inquiry is fine as long as it contains info from your company about when you’ll be in touch, which lets customers know you’ll actually respond.

  • Great App but has it’s disadvantages

So I really enjoy using the app as creating a mind map is amazing especially in our current situation. The only downside is this app is for students, and most of us don’t work and although to most people 2.49 seems like nothing, it is a student based app and we just can’t afford that. Thats how it knocks the stars down for me... I have shown the apo to so many of my friends who havw stopped using it because of the lack of free use. Sp you’ve lost a few customers there sorry. But over all the free version of the app is okay, for your mpre simple things but for school and uni students, we struggle with it a bit. LOVE THE APP THO x
