Love this camera
The sound quality is amazing, and the picture is very good as well. I wish they still sold them at the Walmart in price. I also wish you could add 2 people to the camera to manage it. And that it would do continuous recording. Instead of just catching motion, and I wish the sound option was still available to record a video and send a notification. This is definitely only an indoor camera, the one I have, which is an axle. I had 2 of them and put one outside and that didn’t last long but the other one I’ve had for almost 2-3 yrs. and it’s worked wonderfully.Show lesslyingthisappsucks

Best money I ever spent. Super easy set up. I have cameras at up at several different locations and I can view anywhere from my cell. I don’t permanently fix them so I can turn them on my cats to monitor when I’m away and talk to them. I can activate by motion or sound or both. I was even able to set one in an attic space to determine how squirrels were getting into my attic. So handy and the applications are endless.Show lesstaterwow

I own a total of 5 Momentum cameras for over 2 years and they are still working great. After reading other reviews I can’t understand the problems they’re having. You have to have a good WiFi signal that’s the main thing but that’s true with connecting any device. Setup is fairly simple and once you set the rules the notifications start alerting. It’s one of the easiest security cameras to setup and operate on the market.Show lesstcountyvol
These things work
If you follow all the directions, which are easy to understand all of your momentum devices will work as advertised. The newest version of the app that is needed to connect and control each device works perfectly. At this time I’m using the inexpensive cori camera setup and the garage door controller. I’ll be adding more momentum devices around the house. I’ve used other brands and have not had the same success.Show lessCW reveiws
Log in
I am upset about having to log back in to see what the alert is for. There is a delay before you are notified that your camera captured movement. Now after their software update I have to log in every single time. In the past you stayed logged in until you logged out. By the time you get notified then log in the culprit has had time to leave and you can’t sound the silly siren option. It should be my option to log in and stay logged in I have 3 of these cameras and have only been able to get one working. The others won’t connect. When I move I am switching to Ring
Another problem that JUST started after a year is the night vision. I have used this inside pointing outside for over a year and all was fine. Suddenly I get a reflection at night of my window and mini blinds. I have done what their support recommended several times and it hasn’t fixed the problem. So I only have security camera working during daylight hours when I am awake. Now it doesn’t work once it’s dark. When all the crimes are committed. So it is basically useless nowShow lessLoriMc65
New Update Flaw

New 01Oct2020 version much better
Struggled with the old app for some time. Lots of bugs. The new app downloaded today 01Oct2020 is much better.
Even though there are still some bugs, but those are the ones the cameras are picking up crawling on the window. Haven’t found any in the app yet. Did find the nighttime (IR) setting back on auto, and I changed it back to off for those cameras which are pointing through a window. Much better not using the sliders for sensitivity. Prepare to experience App crashes
I’ve been using this App for a few years and although when it works, everything is fine, most of the time, the App just crashes. Sometimes you can get in and use it, but over-all it is so unreliable, it is down right criminal to release this App as is. Hacked?
Almost certain my cam was hacked as someone was in the yard and the cam didn’t catch any of it, the cam didn’t even record (or if it did, it was deleted) what I selected to record on my own and the app said the cam was recording when I selected record. Now there is no evidence of some random person being there. There appears to be 30ish minutes of recordings missing in the gap and what is there has the wrong time stamps up until the person is gone, leaving them out of recordings. This product belongs in the discounted children’s toy section. I have no idea how many times I’ve checked the app to see if it caught something specific only to find out it only recorded nothing happening instead.
-Bad video quality: Maybe a 3-5 out of 10.
-Auto record feature that appears to be random, even when there is nothing happening.
