  • Do Not Buy These Cameras!

    We have gone through 5 cameras—4 Cori cameras and 1 Axle camera. These cameras were bought over the course of the last 3 months! We continuously had issues with live stream while using cellular service and yes, we had an excellent signal each time we experienced the issues. We also had issues with receiving timely notifications from each camera. This company has zero customer service support over the weekend and since they are on Pacific time, if you experience issues in other times zones, consider yourself out of luck. The lack of 24/7 customer service should be enough for consumers to avoid this company at all costs. Even as I type this review, we are once again experiencing issues with live feed via cellular service even though we have LTE service and a full set of bars. Stay away from Momentum!!!

  • Used to love.

    I really used to like this app and the camera but not long ago when I would try to get on it would say I have a device that wasn’t set up with my plan but I had already used the camera on my plan, now the camera has to b on two separate things for it to work right ever since I fixed the problem and put my camera on the other plan thing it will now show the live video when I am not home and will not play the sound on the activity stream. I had this problem b4 the update but if I went onto the live stream and turned on the sound then the sound on the activity stream would work now I can’t even do that. Fix the problem and I will fix my rating.

    I purchased this product today. It was easy to set up at first. I decided to redo my dashboard. Resetting the cameras took some tries to reset. After 30 of resetting the camera, they finally reset and I set up my dashboard the way I wanted. The instructions aren’t the best. I read various reviews about these cameras. The colors are good. In order to get the full view of my living room , I had to turn my phone sideways. The audio is not bad. I can’t wait to see what it looks like at night. I did not purchase the cloud storage and I forgot to purchase the SD card. Over all not bad for the price I paid.

  • Above expectations

    The price of this device led me to believe that there would probably be some issues. I had read a ton of review some good and some bad but I figured I’d give it a shot since it was so cheap. I use it at my house to keep an eye on my dog while I’m at work. I can listen in to hear if she’s barking or crying and call my dad to go over and check on her. I’m thinking of getting a second one and giving her a little more of the house to roam! 10/10 would recommend. Glad I took the risk!

  • Useless

    Useless and the most unreliable application I ever used. As far as using this for what you call a security camera, I’d have better luck watching my possessions with a blindfold on. I would never trust this app for security of any kind. I paid $40 for this piece of junk you call a security camera and I’m going to have the enjoyment of taking a 4 pound sledge hammer to it. So if I’m going to lose $40 I will at least get my satisfaction smashing it into 400 little pieces. Don’t see how you get away with selling this product to anyone. The camera and app are a big joke and I’m not laughing! The application is the heart of the camera. If that don’t work nothing else will work. When you see all negative complaints what’s that tell you? The lagging is horrible. My other cameras work flawlessly on my network without a glitch. Wow you have a lot of work to do. I’m sorry I ever bought this product. Get it right or don’t do it at all. Deleted this worthless application. This company should’ve been out of business a long time ago. You would have better security with a blind dog! Always remember a happy customer always returns. I’m not smiling one bit. There are cameras on the market that are way cheaper and work 10 times better unplugged. Have a nice day.

  • PTSD Veteran gets peace of mind

    I would never have thought that I could purchase a decent surveillance camera for under $50, and have it monitor my home, live with audio feed capability for $5!!! But, folks, let me assure you Momentum has it and it is unbelievably clear picture can appear on my phone when I am even out of state. I have ptsd and to me, this means everything! I don’t have to worry about walking into a burglary in progress or any other dangerous situation because, I’m never away from home with my Momentum surveillance!!

  • Slightly poor app and settings

    The excessive amount of notifications makes me want to turn off notifications, but I still want to be notified incase of emergency. App doesn’t allow me to turn off audio events being recorded. I would like to be able to only be notified of movements in the area I have designated(front door), Incase of an unauthorized entry by an intruder. However, it will catch a video at the drop of a pin. So, if you’re looking for a security type camera that will catch every little sound and movement this is the camera and app for you!

  • Security at its finest

    I bought a few of these cameras and was a little skeptical at first because of how cheap they were. I’m utterly dumbfounded by the quality of picture and sound. I love that you can set rules and it will notify you if the rules are broken. Such as set one of the cameras to notify you of movement between 6am and 9pm while your at work. Notification comes in and I can watch what happened to set it off. Then watch a live view if I want. Overall for the price I would give these cameras and the app a 8 out of 5.

  • Niro Camera Solid, App Is Not

    Trying to focus on reviewing the app, using it with the Niro garage door camera/controller. App works well at primary function of viewing live video and opening/closing garage doors. But the app is missing features claimed in the manual. There is no record button, and no audio/microphone button. So I can’t manually record video or hear audio or use the 2-way speaker. (Video only records 20 sec if you set a motion event trigger.) The other issue is that I have a window in my garage, and it is constantly (10x per day) triggered whenever the sun comes up, goes behind a cloud, comes out again, car headlights shine in, etc. This is even after setting the sensitivity to the lowest setting. So the camera is solid, but the app doesn’t allow me to use all the purported features.

  • Terrible

    Customer service is a joke. The app doesn’t allow me to choose am or pm. I want to have the flood light turn on at 6 pm but it won’t let me go past 2 pm, and the shut off allows up to 11:59 pm, won’t let me turn off during am. For some reason the light turns on at dusk and shuts off at dawn which is what I want but the camera shuts off with it. When I called customer service all they said was to exchange it where I bought it. The only trouble shooting option is to delete the app and reinstall, that didn’t work! Not really sure if it’s the light or the app! When the camera comes on the light is so bright and the camera is great, but you only get a half day of surveillance.
