Decent Camera, Terrible App
We bought these cameras after an emergency forced us to increase home security. The cameras work fine— especially for the low price. The app, however, is a different story. It is not easy to navigate. It only gives you full functionality for the 1st month, then you have to pay monthly for the service to continue. I had some technical issues with the app after their last update (which completely changed the functionality of the cameras which render the app completely useless for the reason I got it) and have not been able to reach anyone in tech support to help me with it. I have sent emails, tech requests via their website, and even called the tech line. I talked to 1 person who said they’d get back to me and have not been able to reach a live person since. You get what you pay for— I cannot recommend this product due to the horrible app and subsequent failed tech support.Show lesskrysiaricky
New app is horrible!
First of all, two apps for two cameras made by the same brand? Add support for the older models, bought less than a year ago! Second, can’t turn off the sound so when I load it on my phone I get horrible feed back: mute feed option is needed!! Not intuitive at all, and very buggy. Had to restart app twice to get the dashboard settings button to work, and all deleted recorded videos are still showing but come back with an error if you click them. Bad app, bad support page with NO useful information. If I didn’t need this app to use my camera I would delete it! Also, I pay for cloud service in my old app/account and would need to pay again for this? Total BS, don’t waste your time or money.Show lessKianLynx
Momentum camera
Bought this after I child I know passed away at the babysitters house while in a playpen. I too watch babies and was a nervous wreck! I grabbed this camera at wal mart. It was very inexpensive and was so easy to set up! I can check in on my napping babies all the time! Picture and sound are great! I can talk to my baby if needed. The app for the camera is incredibly easy! I logged on when out of town and could see my housekeeper had arrived. I can talk to my own kiddo and see him when I’m gone. It’s a GREAT PRODUCT and I am more than happy to give it 5 stars. Highly suggest this camera!Show lessMom2cole
Great
First and foremost for the price I couldn't ask for more. Easy to use app, clear picture light and dark no problem streaming even off Wi-Fi. The only down sides to it are:
that storage is local unless you get the cloud. Which I wish they had a 24 hr plan I never need it for more then that..
It's indoors only...
The app rules setting doesn't have a pause button that I know off have to delete it anytime you're there and don't want to be recorded and then hopefully remember to set it again. Or unplug it like I do and forget to plug it back in.
