App doesn’t use phone clock
I have used these for over a year (switches and smart plug) and like the feature to assign on/off by sunrise and sunset. Unfortunately, while the app knows what time these occur while setting the times, it doesn’t continue to adjust while running, so that every few weeks, one has to reset all times. Worse, when going off DST, while it has the correct standard times for sunrise and sunset while setting on/off, it changes them to an hour later when you save the settings. Unacceptable; one has to manually reset them every few weeks. Also, given that they’re connected to Wi-Fi, one should be able to control them through Wi-Fi, not Bluetooth. Battery life has been good and these work great, but the setting/control issue is lousy.Show lessWestiefromCO
Won’t work with Alexa now
I set up two of these and liked them so much initially that I decided to buy two more. My first two set up easily and paired with Alexa. When I attempted to add the second two, they required a firmware update and after I updated none of the four lights will connect with Alexa. It previously had two links, one to connect with Alexa and one to connect with Google Home. Now it only gives me the option to connect to Google Home which I don’t have. I returned the second set I bought but it was past the return window to return the first two. I’ve tried deleting them, removing batteries for a long time, and deleting the app and starting from scratch, but it still won’t give the option to connect with Alexa anymore. I’ve contacted customer service 4 times and they always say they will get back with me but never do.Show lessBeach lover 33
Product is Defective / Reviews Not Good
It’s essentially a non working product because you cannot get the Bluetooth to pair. It just keeps asking you to retry. I finally through this piece of crap into the garbage.

Toggle switch
I have the Switchmate toggle light switch - battery operated and controllable through the app. I LOVE it. First time I had ever purchased anything like this: I’ve had it for over a year now, just replaced the batteries once, and I use it every day for my hallway light. I started it in my bedroom but I AirBnB my house and found it would be most useful in the hallway for when guests are coming and going because I can set a timer for it to come on and off easily.
Absolutely love this and will be buying a few more. Does have an audible sound when flipping the switch but honestly easier than re-wiring and replacing your existing switches (which I ended up doing in my bedroom).Show lesskw903
Does not give code for Alexa
Says it is compatable with Alexa all you need to do is generate a code but there is no code other than the google code!aliceirene27
Just doesn’t work
Bluetooth on the light switches has terrible range so you can only turn on if you standing very close. So the timer feature would be the saving grace, however that doesn’t work either. Since the change to winter time the light keeps turning on an hour early and can not be changed. Tried everything: deleting, removing battery. No luck. And support doesn’t exist.
