Improvement is needed
I recently made my first purchase via the app. I’ve given 3 stars as it is a good app to use and finding what you want/need, however what I found strange was that people cannot leave reviews on items that they have purchased.
The two dresses I bought, I ended up returning as they did not look as the picture showed, they seemed to be a cheaper material which caused the dress to be slightly see through, the quality was not good and the sizes came up bigger. I think if they had a section where people could review/rate the items they purchase that would be a good idea especially as you have to pay a return fee for each item you purchase and return.Show lessMia_Moo45

I don’t like to be forced to download an app to find the status of an order and even worse you can’t track anyway, as neither the link to Royal Mail or the app or emails have the tracking number.SuperHellVixen

I love the app. Easy to use, love the filters, especially shopping by occasion. The only thing is you can’t click on the item you’ve bought in your order history to make the picture bigger to see what you’ve bought whilst you’re waiting for your clothes to arrive! First time using SilkFred so was a little nervous, especially as it was a prom outfit that we had ordered. Item was described well and sizing great. The quality of the item was lovely too. I would definitely order again.
They only thing I would suggest is giving a better idea on when the customer could expect delivery. I did receive an email telling me that the parcel had been shipped but it was a further 7 days for it to arrive. I did contact you via the chat to query it, which is a feature I liked, and you were quick to reply and alleviate any concerns I had. If the customer knew when the approximate delivery would be then it would be helpful.
Overall a good experience from SilkFred. I will be using again and will recommend the app to friends.Show lessCavieW

I have ordered several dresses and tops over the past few years and always happy with the quality of Silkfred products but the best part is the speediness of deliveries to where I live in Australia

I love the app for many reason; the variety of brands available, it’s easy to pay, conveniently available 24/7 and it has accessories plus easy search functions BUT…I don’t think it’s always overt which brands will charge for returns. If it was clearer, I admit it would make me think twice before purchasing but at least I wouldn’t be feeling a little ripped off if it’s something I wanted to order multiple sizes in and have to pay to return at least one :(Show lessAngelfish1979

I’m a huge fan of SilkFred and have been for a couple of years. It’s great to find such a wide range of products which have the winning combination of being appealing to wear, good quality and also great value. The app is super easy to use and has made it even easier to find what I’m looking for and save favourites (and find less of an excuse not to buy everything I like - oops!)
So many heavily advertised clothing marketplaces are disappointing and underwhelming with poor quality. SilkFred is definitely not one of these!!Show lessClareruth1

I’ve used the app a number of times now. I find it simple to navigate. The photos and descriptions of clothing are very good. I like that the height and size of the models are given. This lets me gauge how long/short an item could be on my height. They also tell you the fit of the item. For example, if it says a top is slim fit, I will order a size up as I’m a bit busty. A loose fit means I will order my normal size.Show lessgerpd

I hesitated as a new customer I wasn’t sure but I fell in love with a summer outfit .. and more. Well I find the website really hard to work as soon as you have looked at an item out it in basket. It sends you straight back to the beginning home page so you lose sight of what your trying to look at. Plus I found that looking on a mobile phone app the clothing is so small you have to take a photo and open it out yourself. To get a better view .The items only took a few days well wrapped. And the material. Is 10/10 ..no worries to purchase again … I found the codes non worked which in these times uk bases it’s hard to treat ourselves. Without a guilty conscience so a little insensitive would t go a miss .. I would like a better app so I could purchase. A
Whole outfit instead of back and forth it’s hard work and I ran out of time so didn’t purchase my second basket. Fingers cross crossed website will sort these little issues out.Show lesselliemum&Nana
