Could be a better experience
The app is great for scrolling, searching and purchasing, and I really like the discover feature.
However, I find it really frustrating when wanting to start a return on an order placed via the app, that I’m navigated to the web page which then has no record of the app based order. Every time I want to return I have to get help via webchat, normally waiting 20+ minutes to get connected to someone, for them to manually instigate the return for me.
Seems a total waste of everyone’s time and really makes me hesitate when deciding whether to order from SilkFred, or to go elsewhere.Show lessLoulouka12

Since SilkFred made their returns free postage I have been increasingly buying clothes from the site and the service has been fantastic! Unfortunately for my bank account I have returned very little and kept almost everything I’ve ordered! The items are very unique and people always comment on them, from oversized jumpers to slick jumpsuits and evening wear. My new black chunky boots have gone down a storm and they are so comfy! With lockdown I’ve ordered a lot of loungewear that has been great to wear and washes well. The returns can take up to two weeks to be refunded but once I knew that I was comfortable waiting. Overall a great service that has kept me feeling fashionable at home as well as in the supermarket (about the only place to visit for the last month!). I look forward to the next season (but not yet as I haven’t finished buying for winter yet, hee hee) xxShow lessSiemcrazy
Perfect for finding hidden gems
I love the app because it has such a huge range of content - it’s great for scrolling without refining search and finding gems but also if you know you wanted for example ‘maxi dress’ you search it and the range of styles and manufacturers is huge so you have options
Grab a cuppa and have a scroll it’s perfect for relaxing and shopping & treating yourself, rather than quick dash shopping that results in buying things that aren’t perfect because you’ve not given yourself a chance to really look and think

Very glitchy
I do love that they now have an app but this is still a bit glitchy and needs some work. When you go into your ‘likes’ and click into an item, and for whatever reason, maybe it is out of stock or unavailable, the whole app screen just turns white and you have to exit the app and go back into it.
It would also be good to be able to see the prices of items you have liked in your like bag so you can see if they have been reduced without having to click into each individual item.
For that reason, I will continue to use my account on my web browser until these issues can be fixed. Can’t wait for the app to run smoothly though!!

I also have more than 19 items in my ‘likes’ but it won’t show them all!! Which is annoying.

The app doesn’t show sale prices at all on my likes items. I clicked into an item in my like bag and it showed the full price, even when I added it to my basket, it didn’t take the 50% off that it is showing on the web browser. This app needs some work!!Show lessSLThornton

Thank you so much for all this helpful feedback! Our app is brand new and we're working hard (promise!) to make it slick and easy to use. We've fixed the issue with "My Likes" screen turning white and also now have added in the possibility of more than 19 items in your "Likes". I like your idea of adding prices in to "Likes" so you don't miss out on a good bargain. Great shout! We've also now fixed the issue when sale prices were not showing.
