99 Hours+ not charging/ not working
I am very disappointed by this company. Lately I had those recurring issues and any of one staff member is there to help. You have customer service line available that alwyas says the same thing: “call at x hours Monday to friday” even if I did call in those hours. E-mails are crap too, no one reach back to you. And it seems when you Ave an issue like this, the only option is to replace - let me quote: “by buying a new device for $129”…. This is truly bad!!!!!?!

Jiobit stop working after 6 months and the customer care completely dismiss the issue. Just purchased different product for third price. Let’s see!
Suspicious
The device itself wasn’t great, trying to cancel a subscription is super hard still in the process. They don’t have a contact number, they dropped off the chat without helping, finally found some helpful directions and it wasn’t automatically canceled. They said we will get back to you between 24-48hrs. Shouldn’t be that difficult.

Predatory subscription model
Jiobit makes it close to impossible to cancel your subscription, even after the 6-month contract has ended, and will continue to charge you $13+ per month per device even after contacting them to end the subscription. Avoid this company - there are better trackers out there that don’t have such dishonest business practices.

I use it for my cats and it works great- love that it alerts me when they wander out of the safe zone!

I emailed as requested and a representative helped work with me to figure out why I couldn’t get my Jiobit set up. My VPN was part of the problem! So if you’re having issues setting yours up, try turning off your VPN, if you have one. So far, I’m really enjoying the product and app!
I’m able to download the app but when I try to set up a new Jiobit, I keep getting stuck on selecting a photo and can’t move forward.

Can’t even register
This thing is stupid. I bought a brand new Jiobit. I downloaded the app. I’m trying to register and every time I put my phone number in it says unable to complete. I tried my wife phone number and same thing. I tried several times. We have new iPhones with up-to-date iOS and everything. This thing needs serious help.

Add mileage or distance traveled tracking
Battery lasts less than a day on a very active cat. Needs to keep track of the mileage that the gps has traveled per trip out of fence. Please add distance tracking.
Peace of mind makes it worth the price
My kids are too young for phones, so having the Jiobit on their persons is a very reassuring precaution to have. I get alerts whenever they leave home, school, etc. The kids don’t mind wearing them at all and know how to conceal them. I am happy with the product and recommend it highly.
All in all it is quite impressive
But it could be improved.
The shape is not ideal for cats. It should go on the collar longways, not crossways. I wish the device stored every reading and dumped them when in range of wifi or bluetooth, I would like to see more detailed paths.
Longer battery life at the expense of a larger but more ergonomic package would be great.
But it is an amazing device.
I have discovered that my cat wanders MUCH further from home than I thought.
