  • Add ar mode and more dragons

I LOVE what you have so far, but I have some ideas that would make the game EVEN BETTER. First, add more dragon species. I feel like you left out some of the more well-known ones, like the Death Song, the Hobblegrunt, the Scauldron, and the Snaptrapper. Maybe even add the ability for toothless and light fury to breed and make night lights, and you could also add some of the dragons from rescue riders and the nine realms. I was also thinking that there should be a way for you to see your dragons life size in AR. Maybe when you open up the menu for one of your dragons, there would be a little button next to their name tag that looked like a camera, and that would take you to AR mode. In AR, you could interact with the dragon like you do normally, but you could also take pictures. There might also be a button to allow your dragon to fly in place, like when you’re fighting it, and also watch it use its special ability. Just throwing some ideas around! 😁

This is my fav game of all time absolutely love it i cant say anything is wrong. Honestly I just wish there was trading, then I could give any extra 5 stars to my brother, friends, etc and i really think it would be nice. I'm sure it would be helpful to many many players, a valid reason is, i have a few 5 stars like 2 that i have not leveled up at all and that are not on my "dream team" so I really don't need them because I am dedicated to different 5 stars, with that being said since I don't need want or use them at all, I would love to trade them to my brother because he has been struggling on getting 5 star dragons, he only has 2 after many months of playing and it would be much better if I could trade them to him so they actually have use because he would love them on his team. Other than that, I love this game so so so much and I know you guys probably have a lot of things to add on the game but I would just LOVE a response and me and my brother are like the biggest sibling HTTYD fans so this being one of the only HTTYD games that are actually GOOD scratch that AMAZING this game is super nice, and I bet you have a lot of responses to make but mine being one of the responses would be amazing!!! Best Game EVER! -mc3

  • Problems

Sounds like everyone is having this problem, but I can’t get into the game. The loading bar stops almost at the end, always at the same spot on the left edge of the Jam City / Ludia logo. Lately the games been having quite a few issues at least we’ve been given decent compensations although they haven’t been equal to what I’ve lost due to bugs. Seems like it isn’t just me with these problems, would appreciate it if they were fixed. Other than occasional problems, 5 star game it’s a great time killer for a couple minutes here and there. -Wild

Edit: Wasn’t able to log in for the last week again, but today I could and this time we got amazing comps. I think like 2 freedom Hookfang 2 grumps, stormfly, hookfang, some toothless/light fury trust, a ridiculous amount of sheep (like 30, why so many lol), 6k runes, 50 normal drafts or something, 20 premium drafts. Might have missed some stuff, only thing it would be nice to get would be a lot of fish to level dragons back up. Otherwise, this comp actually gives us back what we lost plus more. Thank you.

  • Great game!

Overall really good, but I do have a few things , such as questions. Why do we have a limited amount of arena battles?! It’s the ARENA. I understand the limit on the alphas battles and regular level battles. And also quests get a bit TO expensive in the lightning bolt thingies (idk what they are called lol. Like the lived?) like 15 to do a hard battle or some other quests too. Also runes have so much use! And NEED, it gets to be TOO MUCH to get!!! Like oh I need fish to level up my dragon, let’s buy some, after all fish are common. And then I’m paying fifty runes for a few thousand fish! And fish is soooo common too! But I do like the variety of dragon types and especially the breeding system, I can’t breed 4 stars yet but I’m making progress. And also, why can’t I chat? And how to make a clan???? Or I am just dumb? (I am dumb but surely I’m not that dumb. Lol) I do have a bit more to say but it’s not anything that is too important ig. But my fingers hurt from typing. Thank you for your time and have a good day! :)

  • Update ^^

This game used to be my everyday game I used to play on. Last time I played events were more easier to finally gain five star dragons. I feel what killed the game so fast was how long the process was to upgrade every dragon and never having enough coins nor fish. Even when I took breaks from playing the game I always came back when hybrids were released. 😊honestly the only thing I could see this game bring all the fans back is by adding the Nightlights *in good quilalty* Ofc adding the favorite Nightlight for club exclusive.🤑Of course after the hype of them dies down adding the new spin off series of Nine realms dragons would be perfect! Especially adding Thunder would be perfect! 😁 besides that honestly there NEEDS TO BE something more engaging with the game… Maybe more ways to play with other players. That’s some of my major points that needs to be tweaked with the game. Hope this helps the game 😉

  • I’ve been playing this game as long as I can remember, still haven’t got bored

I love this game, I’ve been playing it for as long as a I can remember. And I’ve only had two problems: Once I had extremely strong dragons, but then one day the screen went black and then I had to restart all my progress. But that was a long time ago and now I have even better dragons. But then 5 years later I had a new problem. I had a glitch in the Thawfest Games. I wasn’t able to do anything and when I was it did no damage. So I lost. Then I wan’t to get my win streak back, so I decided to look for a opponent, but every single was was way to strong, so then I spent pretty much all my runes simply looking for a opponent in the Thawfest Games. Every single opponent I saw was at least double as strong as me, or triple, or quadruple, or more! I didn’t know how that happened. The Thawfest Games took up most my time in this game, and now it’s taking up even more time because I kept looking for an opponent who I at least have a small chance of winning against. But that got fixed 10 minutes later so now I’m happy 😁. But really, it’s an amazing game. Any who loves How to Train Your Dragon should definitely get it, or even someone who hasn’t even watched the movies or shows and just simply loves dragons should get it.

  • I know everything about httyd, So listen up.

Great game, it really is, so I give it a thumbs up five stars. But here’s the the thing… It’s a little amateur. Not with the dragons, you have plenty not well known dragons, but you don’t even have Tuffnut in the quest list. You need to add him, it makes me and all my friends get (weirdly) frustrated. I think you should also add mini games, to where you can get runes and dragons. I get pretty bored just battling and matching blue squares. But I do give you a really big round of a applause for no glitches. I mean it’s a once in while thing to where there is a glitch, but that happens to every game right? Also, if you are reading this, please reply so I know that. Please listen to my advice, for I have been playing this for 4 whole years. Other than those few things, this is my favorite game, and I hope you make more httyd games. FIVE STARS!! ❤️🥰💕🐉⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • Amazing, but minor complaint

So I’ve been playing this game for a few months now, and it quenches my thirst for not only a httyd base, but one that’s also a match three puzzle type mixed with collecting. The game itself is overall unique with the addition of new hybrids, trust point events, and such. My only problem is resources- while normally it’s plentiful, sometimes it’s really hard to gain the proper amount. I’ve been especially low on runes and coins, and I’m unable to purchase anything but not from an in-game interference, simply because I wish not to. I have at least seven different dragons that are maxed to their current star rating and I have every single item that I need except the appropriate dragon and coins. I do appreciate the breeding rarity percentage, but it gets a little tiring having to wait so long and being eager to see the results, so I tend to spend a lot of runes on speeding it up. Aside from that, I love this game more than any of my other apps and I’m glad to have given so much of my time to playing it. Though, another issue is the arena. My team’s power level is 4k, yet I’m constantly paired with people that have 6-8k and it gets irritating sometimes because I actually have to wait for people who have a lower team power, if not slightly above, than mine.

  • SCAM - Game is Rigged to make you spend money

This game is literally designed around manipulating children into spending their parents money. I’m not sure how these developers sleep at night. Then again, it is Ludia. Let me start by saying I’ve played this game since day 1 - Huge fan of the HTTYD series. Over time, I became increasingly annoyed with the large amount of technical bugs and issues related to the gameplay - oddly, almost every single issue had a way of using micro-transactions and in-game currency to fix itself - EVERYTHING, bug or not, is geared towards making you do that. Weeks after the developers gave me verbal confirmation that they would fix the specific issues I mentioned, nothing happened. So I took a LONG (probably about a year) hiatus from the game, because it was too annoying. Returning to the game after a year - EVERY SINGLE issue I reported is still in the game. And every single issue can be resolved or otherwise overcome by spending money. I hope the developers are enjoying the money they’re making from tricking 7-year-old children into spending a disproportionate amount of money for a tiny amount of in-game help, until the next bug comes along. Criminal. What’s even sadder is that this is literally what I’ve come to expect from Ludia. It should be their mission statement. Such a pathetic blemish on an otherwise amazing franchise.

  • Don’t even bother

This game can be really fun when it wants to be, and I’ve always loved HTTYD, but it’s specifically designed to make you lose. Don’t think that they don’t know the game has issues, they PUT IN the issues on purpose to make the game more frustrating, therefore encouraging you to get in app purchases. Competitive play is awful. Even higher level people always end up getting stuck at one rank no matter how hard they try to break out of it, and it’s heavily reliant on RNG and luck. You lose battles you can easily win just because the tiles weren’t lined up for you correctly and you have to try again and just HOPE you get lucky. The game can be extremely slow and exhausting because it takes a long time to save up runes for the dragon gacha, and it doesn’t even guarantee you getting a five star dragon with such low chances. Not to mention, dragons require DUPLICATES if you want to level them up, so not only is it super hard to get five star dragons from the gacha, you have to get the same one again MULTIPLE TIMES somehow! Don’t even get me started on the event dragons when it comes to duplicates. This game is so greedy and wants you to spend ridiculous amounts of money just so you can play the game normally and it doesn’t take a million years to progress.
