Don’t buy the subscription!
This is a really fun game, but don’t buy the subscription. I played the game for ages without buying anything, and there’s plenty to do without spending money. I finally bought the subscription to get all the extras, and it worked great for a month. When it renewed for the next month, my content suddenly disappeared and the game thought I didn’t have a subscription, but I had just payed for it. The game also wouldn’t let me resubscribe, because I had an active subscription. So basically, I paid for absolutely nothing and there was nothing I could do about it. I contacted service and they gave me some initial fixes to try, but none of them worked. They next told me to… contact Apple, instead of fixing the problem themselves, nor did they grant me the runes and other content I missed in the meantime. They were not helpful at all. After Apple cancelled my subscription, I tried resubscribing and I got the same errors. The game thinks I both have a subscription and don’t have a subscription, so I guess I’m just not going to get access to that extra content. Good game, but…
So I’m here to say this is a REALLY GOOD GAME. Addicting, tons of things to do, and rare dragons to collect. I do have one major complaint. The dragons, when matching, don’t really take damage at all. When you hit them time and time again, they take little to no damage. It’s extremely frustrating, especially when it is a weak dragon who has not very much health. It keeps happening, then all my dragons are dying because this one weak dragon won’t take damage. The strength and weaknesses don’t really work either, except for alpha battles and the purple-yellow cycle. The strength and weakness concepts for the blue, red, and green cycle don’t work very well, except for the rare occasion it does a critical, which is very rare. Otherwise, it gust gives an extremely weak hit then you can’t kill them unless your dragons decide to charge up their attacks. If a developer sees this, please take it into consideration to fix this. Disgruntled!!! Like Mad Bad!!!
I have been playing this game for about 4 years, off and on. I go thru stages in life that when I’ve had enough of the world I like to get lost in playing some of my favorite games to forget about how terrible this world is becoming!!! So I get a new phone & decide I wanna play my most favorite game of all time, Titans Uprising, only to find out that Tapjoy has changed their way for us to get ruines!!! Instead of getting to download different games & completing the necessary requirements to obtain ur free ruins, now all you can do is go to different sites & have to make purchases for whatever it is you decide you might want. I made a purchase for coffee & now they keep charging my credit card over $50 a month for coffee they have never sent to me one time. & all I did was agree to buy one bag for $1!!! That’s the world these days. Always ruining something that never needing any fixing!!! It’s all greed!!! I wish when something is good the way it came out that it would stay the same, instead of it all having to change into something that shouldn’t of in the first place!!! Thanks alot Lydia!!! Great graphics. kind of nice
I love this game. It is so cool, and the graphics are amazingly stylish. I like the baby Toothless! But... u only give us like, 4 days to earn 1000 trust points witch is like SO impossible. AND! The battles get SUPER intense and hard when you move up. You are supposed to earn 1000 trust points to train the dragon and get it on your team. And once you get to the hardest battle, you only get 20 trust points. I have only unlocked Toothless because u get to battle on the map, to get his trust points, so he is always there. But I had so much trouble with the other dragon’s trust points. Also. How do you climb up to the crystal stage?! It is completely impossible for me! I do not believe people actually got to the crystal stage! I am only in the wood 3! I hate that u have to give up your old dragons just to get the number of another dragon’s points up one. JUST ONE! a and you need like 40 points to JUST level up a dragon. I lost my whole entire team because of it!!!!!!!!! I hate that. I am at a pretty high level, and it is so hard. I am always getting defeated! I do not like that. The only thing I like is the dragons.Show lessBuzzTap
Great game, but......
I love this game. But I do have a few suggestions. First, when me and my clan defeated an alpha, I had enough keys to open the alph chest. It was level eight so I should have gotten a four star. But I got nothing!😠 The game freezed up and I had to close the game out and when I got back on, the chest had restarted! Soooooo annoying. Also, it is veryyyyyy hard to get three star scales to level up your dragon to five stars, and it’s already hard enough having to have a dragon of the Sam type to get it to its next star. I have introduced two people to this game, and I wish there was a way to friend them, because one of them lives in a different state. I also think it would be really nice if you could make a way to trade dragons with other people, because I’m at level 27 and I really want to give them some dragons and I can’t.thanksShow lessMatt Sherman from Phoenix
Stuck
*Edit: Scales seem to be easier to get now. However, Alpha Battles are getting stuck on a load screen now and take away an energy without actually letting me play. I am now reloading the game between every alpha to try to avoid this. Annoying.*
I’ve played this game for years. I’ve got most of the five star dragons that you have to play special events and earn trust points to get. Now, however, I need three star scales to train them, and they are crazy difficult to get in the scale search quests. I can’t beat the level to get the three star scale, so I need to level up my dragons, which I can’t level up until I get the three star scales, which I can’t get because my dragons aren’t high enough level to beat the quest because I need the three star scale to level up my dragons...you get the picture. I haven’t moved forward on the map in months despite my team being a higher level than the enemy. I’m basically stuck.
I love this game, but I pretty much log in to fight the alpha to stay in my clan and that’s it. I’m not sure how much more gameplay I can get out of it without a new way to earn three star scales. I wish I could buy them in the Thawfest store.Show lessKatMannDo

Let me just start by saying that I love this game tons. The game has a decent storyline, the graphics and models look absolutely stunning, and I love how the way battles work. I would totally recommend this game to anyone who loves How to Train your Dragon or to someone who loves dragons in general.
But there’s one bug in the game that i’ve come to talk about. The fact that sometimes when battling, you suddenly aren't able to make any moves at all. Like one second you’re playing fine then the next second you cant get your dragons to use their attacks and you cant make matches to fight your enemies. There’s no workaround to this either, if it happens you HAVE to exit out of the battle, which counts as losing. This is extremely annoying because i’ve lost so many battles due to this unfortunate bug, and i’ve lost battle streaks because of it as well. PLEASE fix this bug ASAP because it can seriously ruin all the fun you’re having with the game.

Updated to add- I got a dev response on my review. They advised me to do exactly what tech support told me to do, which didn’t work. *golfclap*
I did get back into my account on my own. I had to delete and reinstall the game, which “support” never suggested. I missed a week of Flight Club runes and a trust event that would have allowed me to do the final upgrade on Toothless. I was not even offered a genuine apology to compensate for this situation. I think the very least I was due is the runes I was unable to collect on my flight club subscription.
I’ve been playing this game for nearly a year. I pay the $10/month for the subscription. About a week and a half ago I launched the game and for some reason instead of launching my existing account through Game Center it asked for an Apple login, which of course I have. So I logged in using saved info via fingerprint verification.. which it claimed was incorrect. It created a new account rather than loading the one I’ve developed over months. I contacted support and they told me they weren’t sure they’d be able to recover my account and requested purchase records and my gamecenter ID, which i promptly provided. It’s now been 5 days since I provided those records and haven’t heard back. So play at your own risk. If you run into problems you’re on your own.Show lessjustno9

OMG. Best. Game. EVER! I have to say, this is pretty impressive. I play this a lot, always trying to beat dragons, there is so much to do for a matching game! I never really liked matching games, but them I found this! There are so many things to do, you fight, you take care of dragons, and Berk. There are so many possibilities! But I do have something I would like changed, well I bet others would like this too. Please hear me out, thanks! So whenever I have a full bag of fish, gold, eggs, etc. and I just went into a battle, then I won! And I am looking forward to collecting all these awesome prizes for my success. And when it starts to give me stuff, it just disappears. What if you could make it where you put the fish, gold, eggs etc. in our mail, so we can collect it when we don’t have full inventory. I mean it’s the most logical thing to do. Example; if someone is giving you five dollars if you clean their dishes but your credit card is full (this is an example, I know credit cards don’t get full) or whatever they still owe you the five dollars. So, why not put or uncollected stuff in our mail to collect later? I would love this so much and I bet others would too. Thank you so much for your time, and I really hope you consider this. This app is amazing and one of my favorite games to play but I think needing to have the same dragons to level up higher star dragons is kind of unfair. I can see needing it for regular dragons like any five stars but for dragons like toothless, light fury, skull crusher, etc... is ridiculous. Not only are they hard to get for those dragons, but there’s only one night fury (toothless). I know it would also be an amazing, big update to have the night light babies from toothless and the light fury added to the game. It would be awesome for us to be able to breed the light fury and toothless to get the night lights. Overall this game is extraordinary and the art and graphics are one of a kind. Please continue adding on to this wonderful game!
I still absolutely love this game but I think since we have had the same instant reward for joining the flight club (skull crusher) maybe you guys could change the instant reward for joining? Maybe every year or so??Show lessLIvi2317
