  • Sad

Every complaint listed remains - it just doesn’t work except for rare occasions, and then is buggy and cumbersome at best.
It’s profoundly disappointing to spend $70k on equipment to only afterwards discover the company that took your money will not invest in real software to operate your investment.

Come on watkins/endless pools - either provide robust working applications or release your API so that someone who cares can develop for the people whose money you took.

If you’re considering buying an endless pools product, believe these reviews before giving them your hard earned money for faulty products.

  • Distance calc broken

Hadn’t used the app in a while and started again recently. It appears to be miscalculating the distance based on the pace and duration. Eg. 2:07 min/100m pace for 30 min says 312 meters which is clearly wrong. Hopefully a simple fix.
  • Updates Needed

This is a cool app. However it often changes my intervals or skips one. I have also had issues with the timer completing on the last interval, but the current doesn’t shut down. I don’t know the workout has ended.
  • Terrible workout creation interface

Take a look at Aviron as a rowing/workout interface. They gamify something that can get monotonous like rowing and gamified it. With the cost of installing a pool why not have a software system that follows that same innovative approach? Seriously guys take a look at their approach and consider a total shift in your approach to make swimming workouts more interactive!

  • So much promise but Disappointing

As a triathlete it’s nice to be able to structure my workouts in the app and let it go. That’s the reason for the 2 stars. Unfortunately it falls very short. The app malfunctions a LOT - it won’t connect to pool, it won’t load workout to pool, it messes up the workout (skips intervals or extends the intervals). I also do not understand why it only allows 19 intervals. To get a workout in, I often have to have 4 different workout segments.

  • Cool concept, but the app is hardly functional

My only issue is with the workouts section of the app. You were able to create a work out with different intervals and speeds and then you are supposed to be able to click play and it will run through your created work out. However, it is constantly skipping rest intervals and even sets, and also just not stopping when it is supposed to go to the next interval. Very frustrating. Hopefully they will provide a software update to fix all of these bugs.

  • Needs a software developer and a swimmer to work together

I’m not sure who designed this app but it has enough problems to be frustrating. Most recently when changing paces in manual it wipes out accumulated distance.
  • Skips Step during Workout

Updated APP has two MAJOR FLAWS
    1. APP will SKIP a step whenever it wants. VERIFIED with different workouts on different days.
    2. APP has a step limit of 20. There is no reason for this. ALL iPhones and devices have plenty of memory nowadays.

As an APPLE Developer, these should be VERY easy to fix as well as other flaws documented in these reviews for as much as the FitAtHome costs.

  • Rest feature messing things up

Excited for the rest feature. It messes with the order of things. Ughh
  • Still buggy

I have an E2000 with treadmill and the app frequently stops my workouts while in progress. Then I have to force quit the app and reopen it. It then makes me start the workout over since you can’t jump directly to another step. Sometimes it won’t even load initially and I have to force quit multiple times just to get a workout started. It also mixes up the treadmill and swim a lot – it will say it’s a run but the treadmill is off and vice versa.
