  • At last!

Not had this very long, so an early review...
it’s a really good start and could/should improve easily in future versions.
The app itself is very basic, looks like something from about 10 years ago, so athletically not very pleasing, but it’s (mainly) functional. Some suggestions for future versions:
    - modernise the look and feel
    - allow users to move workouts in the list, not just the order they were created
    - allow users to have workouts link with a delay timer (deals with mateys no rest complaint)
    - allow short delay start (for people who’s idevices are a safe, dry distance away)
    - some sort of noise to signify change to workout
    - links to some swimming workouts help/advice/examples
    - recording of completed workouts so users can track progress
I’m sure there’s more, but those leap out to me after just a couple of uses, but I’m thrilled it’s available and it will absolutely increase my enjoyment of the EP not to mention improve my health in the process! Look forward to future releases ☺️

  • Creating/editing workouts needs work

The function available is decent but with a little attention it could be great

*Need ability to group intervals for both ease of entry and development e to limited number of slots
*Need to include the ability to share workouts between different devices and different users. A bonus would be a hosted community where workouts could be shared
*Include an in workout feature to allow user to skip an interval

Please update this app for the loyal community of Endless Pool users.

  • Very basic app for a very expensive pool

While I love the endless pool and the ability to control the current with this app, the app is just too basic. If I want to do, for example 5 x reps of anything with 30s rest (e.g workout builder) I have to manually add each step or copy each step and reorder, rather than just increasing a rep count. In addition, the number of steps are limited to 20, which limits what you can do with the app. Watkins needs to put a bit more time into this app. They make a great swim current, and it could be fantastic with an update to the app.

  • For workouts needs some enhancements

    • Needs direct entry for pace, instead of slider.
    • Needs ability to group intervals into sets for repeatability.
    • Import/export workouts from/to XML so they can be created/stored externally.

Please enhance this! It has potential. Don’t stop here please.
  • Not worth the effort to download

A waste of time. Maybe some one can come up with a simple app that just counts strokes! We can calculate distance from that.
  • Fundamentally flawed

While this app appears to work, it doesn’t allow you to program a rest interval. You could program a slower pace for a rest but this screws up the total distance calculation.
