I think the app works perfectly. I use my Apple Watch at the same time and get exact the same results. I wish it did more like kept track of all workouts and calorie count.Rick the dick1028
Better than nothing, but...
If you have an Endless Pool with this feature, then this app is already paid for and IMO, it’s definitely better than just having the blue remote control with on/off & up/down.
That said, you’ve already got probably about $40k invested in your EP that you’ve forked over to EP and it’s authorized installer and you’ve spent whatever the upcharge was to add this functionality to your EP itself.
The part that’s lacking is the app. Specifically, the UI/UX...this app needs redevelopment with involvement by a serious end user who also has UI/UX experience. In the alternative, EP could host a focus group via Zoom, etc. and we could get the requirement specifications dialed in.
Aside from the app being a poor piece of development code, what’s really a drag — and this isn’t EP’s fault — is that even in a waterproof case, you can’t put your iPad on the bottom of the pool and have the app control the turbine via WiFi because WiFi won’t go through even an inch of water...I’ve tried all kinds of placement options and cannot get my waterproofed iPad into a position where it can both 100% bulletproof not lose WiFi connectivity to the turbine’s controller unit _AND_ allow me to see where I’m at on the app without interrupting my rhythm. EP needs to figure-out a way that one can view the app’s screen and one’s progress through a complex interval drill one’s programmed without requiring any break in concentration or rhythm...this sould be effortless...if that requires a waterproof wired connection, I’d be 100% OK with that.Show lessFifteenthFish5
Stops working!!!
I have add the swim spa and app for two years but lately it either ends my workout early or it appears to end but keeps going and I don’t get the correct data at the end. Needs serious upgrading. Not suffice t technology considering the price of the spa and equipment to enable the app in the first placeShow lessTry-Girl 56
Fit @ home app
So been using this app now for nearly 12 months and it’s been a great add on to improve training and concentration in the pool. Although I have a few suggestions moving forward;
1) be able to track/record progress of sessions.
2) be able to upload session to other apps such as Strava, Garmin connect .....etc so swim, running and cycle can be all together.
3) be able to transfer training sessions to another device.
4) have the option of an audible beep between intervals.
I am sure there will be more but keep up the great work and thank you.

Best option for a varied speed workout
Great to be able to preset your work out with variable speeds. Far better than using the remote control. For development it would be really helpful to have the ability to export workout to fitness apps. More helpful would be the ability to have more sets in a workout. Currently after 7 different sets the app won’t scroll down and let me put in more. So I have had to create a warm up workout, a main set workout and a separate warm down work out which is a bit of a pain. It does its stuff, but could probably do so much more.
