  • Great

This app was really good but I have to wait 10 hours for the next session so I advice anyone who wants to learn a language using drop to learn a session near night so the next day you can do another session.
Also for some reason when I was doing my next session the pronunciation stopped working so I had re download it again but since I had a account I didn’t have to re start everything again👌
Over all it was a nice app with hardly any problems 👍

Hi, Thanks for playing Drops! We designed the session length for beginners, but you can get extra minutes for free by watching ads and referring Drops too. Keep learning with the app, and let us know if there’s anything you would suggest us to improve on!
  • Love it!

It’s AMAZING and I LOVE it!! Haha, so yes, I am most definitely recommending Drops 😊👍 it’s easy, fun and it even reminds you when you have to do it, you get 5mins every 10 hours, which I think is super because that way you stay super concentrated 🤓 but..... the only problem is... £160?!?! Really?! For an app?! I mean.. yeah I know it’s like the best app here for learning a language but.. you have to pay £160 if you want to unlock everything for a life time 💀😥🤧 welp, I’m not at that stage yet (So I’m scared when I get to the locked parts, because I reallly want to learn Korean and this is the only thing that actually works) .. but I’m just 12, and there’s no way my mums going to pay that much for an app! So what will I use when I finish what I have? How am I supposed to learn the WHOLE language? 🤔

Hi, Thanks for giving a try to Drops, we're thrilled to hear you LOVE it! :) We are a small team pouring a ton of work into this app - and this is our bread and butter. We believe, the free version we offer is perfect for casual learners, or 12 year old users with no chance to purchase, like yourself. You can get extra time for free by watching ads and referring Drops to your friends and family, to keep learning. Alternatively, you can ask your mum to select from our monthly or yearly subscription offers, perhaps. Is there anything else you think we should improve on?
  • I love drops

I Lover drops it is very nice and t really helps me learn I however do wish it wasn’t pay for more time I feel like people should be allowed to use it for however long they want so if they want they can learn a little bit faster or if they feel like learning more. Drops is fun and kind of addictive so if we could all get more time it would be nice we would be on drops a lot more.

  • Great app!

This app really helped me learn Korean. It made writing and memorizing so much easier, with repetitive actions. Thank you for making this app! (Also the other apps have helped me very much as well, such as the Arabic, Japanese and Chinese.)
  • Love ❤️ Love ❤️ Love ❤️

I have been trying to learn Korean ever since I’ve plunged into the world of k-pop and k-dramas!. I’ve gone through almost all of the learning apps in the App Store. But I’ve finally found the right one...Drops! Drops has improved my Korean by a lot. In the beginning I didn’t even know what Hangul was! I totally recommend this app to people who want to learn Korean but don’t want to spend boring hours just staring a alien sighs trying to remember them... Drops helps you remember all the characters easily by giving you little mini games and saying the pronunciation each time. When summer is over I’ll be able to read and write Korean like it’s my own language!!!!😘😘❤️❤️!. 가자!!🔥❤️🔥

  • Impressed!

This is the first app that actually teaches the language in an easy way without asking for money right away either. I tried Babbel, Memrise, etc., but their techniques and constant "membership" purchases aren't efficient. The only downside of the app is that it's only five minutes for the free plan... *tear* I love how visually appealing and simple Drops is; I haven't had any problems so far. I absolutely love how there is a choice for romanization and that it's only five minutes of practice daily(it's a curse and a blessing, i know). Drops is basically stress-free. It's genuinely calming and, I admit, quite addicting. You must try it out at least, and you see what I mean when I say it's not like any other language app.

  • Would be 5 stars if you could actually remove words

Compared to another flash card app, I really enjoy Drops. The different mini games are more engaging.

My main issue is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to block words from appearing. I thought the “hide” feature in your learned vocab list would achieve this, or perhaps it would if I had less words hidden, but it’s really annoying to get beach volleyball and other Romanized loan words over and over again, especially when there are other words in the section you’ve marked as new for you. I understand it’s good to get some older words once in a while, but whatever algorithm is used could use some tuning. I get that that’s not trivial.

Maybe all this could be avoided if you could preview the words in each section. As an intermediate learner, I’m certainly glad I didn’t look at the first section (on Hangeul), otherwise I’d be wasting more time. I sorely regret checking the numbers section for anything I might’ve not known.

Hi, Thanks for giving a try to Drops! You're right the "Hide" feature should hide the word you would not like to keep repeating. If you have trouble with that, please send us a message from the Help section of the app, as we would like to investigate what is happening! Thank you!
  • Great!!

I love this app so much. Many other language learning apps are clunky, difficult to understand. Drops is so simple but appears sophisticated.
I initially used a separate Hangul app which helped me to better understand how the writing system works first, as drops introduces this in a random way which I don’t think helped me very much.
Otherwise, I’m now learning Korean vocabulary with drops. It’s great!! I love that the native pronunciation is included. I know if I bought the subscription I would use it for longer, but it is nice to learn slowly and write out new words everyday (plus I’m learning Swedish elsewhere so I don’t get too overwhelmed!)

  • Effective Learning

Drops works really well when learning languages that are similar. For example, I am learning Korean using Drops. I am a native Chinese speaker and also using English most of the time. in my personal circumstances Drops
has made it so easy to learn the speaking based Korean language. There are many similarities between Korean and Chinese, Korean and English. Drops is very effective in helping me in this context.

  • Fantastic Start

Fanstastic Way to learn, I'd suggest to not use the romanization feature unless really necessary. But otherwise really great. Audio is clear and animation is great! Top marks!
