  • Very easy to learn

Love this app! I really don’t think there should be a time limit but I suppose the pressure of time makes your brain work harder. Fantastic app. Would recommend to anyone looking to learn. Think it could benefit with some videos of someone from Korea breaking down the word and accentuating the syllables to make you understand the meaning behind each one as some sound quite similar. Just a suggestion. Best app I’ve found so far, and my favourite too! Keep up the good work! 5⭐️

  • Don’t know what happened!?

I was going so great I got so many milestones but than it logged me out and I can’t figure out the password to get back in?
I was really enjoying this game until this happened.
I will always love this app but I don’t think I can use it any longer.
I am not sure if it was just a trial or something but drops please help!
Plus the thing that it is supposed to send you didn’t come through.

  • Amazing and Interactive

Probably say if you want to learn a new language this is most definitely a fun and interactive way of doing so
  • Amazing app! Super helpful

I’ve always wanted to learn Korean but it was so difficult to find the right app. After a little digging I found drops! This app is super helpful, it has challenges and sets you goals! Although it does beg for you to get premium it’s still so good. I definitely feel like drops should work on giving us less promotions but other then that I totally recommend this app! Let me let u in on a secret, MY KOREAN FRIEND FINDS THIS APP SOOO COOL!! Definitely download this app when u have the chance <3

  • It’s really good but it doesn’t actually teach u how to say or how it’s written in Korean

It’s really good but it doesn’t actually teach u how to say or how it’s written in Korean!

So drops has very good mini games and stuff but you need to check your pronounciation as well as what the word/phrase is. If your pronunciation isn’t checked then you might be saying it wrong your whole life!

You also need to know how it’s written, like in one mini game you’d have to guess what the word was in Korean however, it’s great you know what it is but you also need to know how it’s written so u don’t need the English to know what the word is!

Another reason is that the app only teaches you words! I think in my opinion there should be like a mini game from the words u know to test u in sentences, from time to time then you get graded!

Overall, I think the game is rlly good and hell to memorise different words thanks! I really hope you guys take my suggestions thanks! 💜

  • Update!

A lot of the time I feel like updates ruin things, but it’s clear lots has been done with the goal of helping people, improving motivation and making images more clear, on top of this it feels like a lot has been done for the free users as well as the premium users, which I feel is not often the case. I don’t often review but I was tremendously pleased with the update and just this app in general. Thank you.

  • Pretty good for vocab

I’ve been using drops for a couple of years on and off and I personally do like it to be exposed to a lot of vocabulary, but the efficiency is questionable in my opinion.
The main issue I’ve come upon is that due to the exercise type you don’t have to actually learn any words you can just eliminate from the choices given and arrive at the correct answer. There is very little memory recall done in this app, because it basically gives you the answers, or makes it extremely easy to figure out what the answer is. I would really love if they added an exercise in which you actually use your keyboard to type out the word, not four choices, not premade syllables to choose from, actually type out the word yourself. That requires actual recall not just process of elimination.

That being said the team has clearly improved the app and added a lot of content which I appreciate.

Also since it has no grammar lessons I do not recommend it for that (personally I need sentence composition to be explained to me because frankly…you may end up sounding weird or text bookish if you just memorize sentences)

  • great practice

I've started to learn korean again a few weeks ago. I tried finding a good enough app that will take me far in my skill but couldn't find a good enough app that will keep me going. until I stumbled upon this. This app is very useful and fun if you pan on learning a language. I had no interference with this app and is great for beginner’s use :)

  • Great for Vocabulary Expansion

I would say this app alone will allow you to learn a language, but it will certainly help you with vocabulary and a little bit of reading too. You can turn off romanized letters which I HIGHLY recommend. Only thing I wish they had was an option for me to only do listening exercises. There are exercises where you hear a word and select a picture depicting the word that as said, but most of the exercises are reading with a pronunciation after you answer. Overall, really good app and nice appeal keeping me wanting to learn more.
