Fails to connect
The worst thing ever in life is to actually have a Swann camera . The idea of being able to simply check if your elderly father has fallen in the hall way , is ever more distressing than a product in place that fails to have connection , it’s not a cheaply priced product . Non of the call center staff give a dam or have any level of English language .unfortunately I bought two of the cameras at £85 and I feel I was robbed ..... no actually I was robbed and scammed . Avoid these products by this company at all costs please .Show lessvivaro hater

The app hasn’t been updated for a year. Clearly Swann don’t care to improve their faults. The camera almost never connects when you need to connect. I can connect to my other smart home devices, just not this camera. Save yourself the ‘brand name’ money and choose an alternate manufacturer. When it works the app is super slow to navigate, and slow to pan/tilt. By the time it recognises your button press, the camera finally wakes up and swings too far in the direction you were pressing. The camera settings don’t allow you to define the camera’s basic network settings such as IP/DNS. Recordings often seem to drop multiple seconds at a time frequently missing the ‘event’. Swann say to reformat the card when this happens (I’m not happy to just keep reformatting the Samsung endurance card). By the way, if someone breaks into your house and steals the camera, the thief will have the memory card and any footage... On a plus all the features you would expect are there and well thought/laid out. It just seems the execution is off with this app and product. This feels like a toy rather than a serious security product. I will never, ever, buy another Swann product again.Show lessJH1234!

Getting totally fed up with this system. This morning yet again my iPad has been signed out and this app will not accept my log in, even though I put the user name in, it just locks out without even asking for the password. USLESS!!!

Don’t Waste Your Money
Constant video loss. Can’t download playback video over 30 seconds long. So the two most important features don’t work well or most time, not at all.Lowesshopper

Absolutely overrated in easy install/ can’t get technical surport. I will Return to place of purchase, not to use or purchase this brand, that sales person, will understand not to recommend again this rubbish, not easy difficult recommendions! Never works
Very unreliable, half the time when you try to view camera you get connection failed. If the modem gets rebooted you lose complete access to view unless you unplug camera and plug back in. Bot possible if your away from homeTweetery45
Great...when it works - but...
Great app generally, when it works. But often get ‘connection failed’. I reset the camera. Reset the WiFi etc. usually after an iOS update it’s at its worst. It’s a bit annoying when the app only works when in the house. As soon as I leave, it reverts to ‘connection failed’ which defeats the purpose.....and is super frustrating. No 4g support
I bought the Swann tilt and pan camera (which seems to do the job), however, the problem is this app. I have an iPhone and can not access my camera remotely using 4G therefore rendering the use of the camera useless. I can only view the camera when I’m connected to the same WiFi which is not really helpful! Furthermore, when used with WiFi app is buggy with regular stalling and camera freeze.

Connection issues
Since updating iPhone and iPad to the latest OS 13.3.1 system I haven’t been able to connect to the cameras while away from home. Notifications are working and I am getting the alerts to say movement has been detected but on every occasion I keep getting the ‘Connection failed’ notifications when I try to connect to the system to view the video. Needs to be more reliable.Show lessLongtack52
