  • Was good now :) revised

    Seem to have fixed the problem got someone in to help getting it up and running again, comes and goes but we are able to use via mobile data most of the time now.. must admit great service via Apple from Swann trying to help get the unit up and running, thank you both for the support.

  • Please fix this app

    This app doesn’t work very well, it doesn’t find cameras half the time. I’m considering returning this system because it makes no sense if you can’t monitor your cameras from your phone.

  • Not good since last update

    This camera and app worked really well but since the last update, the connection keeps failing, and the playback drops out and recording is low quality and jumps around. I use it at night to monitor my toddler who has disabilities so it’s important. Please fix otherwise I will have to buy another brand which is an added expense we don’t need.

  • Connection Failes

    Why have ‘smart app’ if 90% of the time you can’t even connect to your camera. When you get the no connection problem the only thing I have found to reconnect with the app is to unplug and plug the Ethernet cable back in the back of the NVR, it’s a real shame that this app lets down the overall product. I have an Aldi video door bell that works seamlessly for a fraction of the price. Lift your game Swann.

  • Recording

    Why can’t I see my recording on phone with this new update. It’s been to long now.
  • No more playback

    The camera work mostly for live viewing but after latest update no longer can do any playback. Always has an error about connecting. Very frustrating and renders the system useless for viewing history.

  • Failed to open

    With the update 4.14.1.1 the app doesn’t work like it did before
    Now constantly get failed to open. It’s useless.

  • Pros and cons

    Pro
    - the app is latex out in a easy to use way
    - I have three cameras I can view all the camera or single as well as view the recording all on the app

    Con
    - no instant messages when alarm/camera is activated
    - very difficult to use the email feature as yahoo/gmail/hotmail/MAC all know it is a computer generated and sent email so their security system will block it.
