Waste of Time
Maybe the gameplay is better on pc/console? The iPad version has incredibly long load times and a tutorial teaches you about the menus, but nothing about strategy. No roads? No tutorial on how to win? No tutorial on combat? You have to figure out everything on your own. Even on the easiest setting, the rival civilizations are constantly attacking and seemingly over powered. Challenging but not very fun as you have to spend 12 hours of gameplay before you have a shot at winning. By the time you figure this game out, it’ll be time to buy Civ VII!!!Show lessStreetcornerNinja
Game no longer works
I’ve been playing various Civilization games since the early 1990ties. It is still a great game, but now has many technical issues. I was muddling through the very slow launch time and late game performance, but I recently got a new iPad and now the game won’t launch. I get an error when I first try to start the game then and get stuck on the launch screen. Deleted the game and reinstalled, same issue. I’ve paid for every update and can no longer play. Very unhappy. It’s even over 9 months and I have a new iPad, Game is still broken and won’t launch. I’ve purchased all the expansions and I want my money back.
Updated. The game now launches but now wants me to repurchase all expansions even though they show as previously purchased in the App Store.

Enjoyable but buggy
It’s a fun game and quite addictive. However, there are always bugs, no matter how often (not very) they update the app. Currently, the game crashes frequently when displaying a ranged attack trajectory graphic.dammitzammit

Pc Levels of quality.
I have played civ 6 on multiple different platforms and this one is one of my favorites. It works well with the touch screen and runs well. This game may cost a lot but it is worth it. The only bad thing is that it can chew through battery pretty quick.Cultured Gammer
