  • Please update to allow controller support.

I just got the Backbone and I was so hyped to play all my Xbox games but then I’m playing Civ six man you know six for my phone on iPhone controller controller you have a bigger fan mobile for civilization six then you know trust me. It’ll be probably a big investment but worth it along way I promise.

  • Game no longer works

I’ve been playing various Civilization games since the early 1990ties. It is still a great game, but now has many technical issues. I was muddling through the very slow launch time and late game performance, but I recently got a new iPad and now the game won’t launch. I get an error when I first try to start the game then and get stuck on the launch screen. Deleted the game and reinstalled, same issue. I’ve paid for every update and can no longer play. Very unhappy.

It’s even over 9 months and I have a new iPad, Game is still broken and won’t launch. I’ve purchased all the expansions and I want my money back.

  • Crashes all the time

So frustrating. Used to love this game. Shame it’s ruined by poor coding.
  • Not sure why people are complaining about the port

This is a pretty darn good port, but yes a mouse would work better. However I have enjoyed this a lot, when it isn’t weighed down by bugs. They finally cleared up the iOS 17 bug where it wouldn’t load but now every so often when I’m trying to target with a ranged weapon my screen locks up with all kinds of pretty pixelated colors, and I have to completely close the app (not minimize) in order to get out of it. I try to autosave every turn or every other turn for that reason.

It would really be nice if they could give us Beyond Earth on iOS, i miss that one too. And also improve graphics.

  • IPhone crashes

Every time I try a range attack the graphs just go awol and I need to restart.
    Please fix it!!!
  • Good Port compared to PC

Runs well when it runs, everything is surprisingly clean for a phone port of a PC monster.
But when the iOS update introduces a bug, expect a slow turn around on repair times…
  • Took a great game and introduced lots of bugs

Clearly a company other than Fraxis put out this super buggy version of civilization. I have played 5 different versions of this game and never seen one with so many bugs. It throws down new desired improvements randomly without asking consent on location, usually placing them on a natural resource and almost always in an inconvenient place. When you can eschew this behavior, you must tap your desired location 30 times to get the game to plant the improvement. The tutorial interrupts production of recommended items to begin a litany of new products without allowing completion nearly finished higher priority item. If you make a cue, the game will freeze and cease to progress. No other version of Civ is so problematic. Save your money and buy a different version of the game.

  • DEATH ROBOT GLITCH GRRRR

great game, i bought the expansion pack into the storm and its great but once u progress and need giant death robots they make the game super glitchy and makes me lag out!!!! its annoying at this point i really enjoy the mobile version i play it every day but cmon on man i just bought the expansion no more than a week ago ( 40 dollars that could have went to the gas tank) that just makes my game disfunctional?? please fix soon. I see the same problem with ships in canals but more rarely. its a hurt piece when u just made one of your greatest turns with the whole world at war with u and did 5 mins of research to then try move your queen of the battle field and it lags you out the game??????? 👴🏾😕

  • Crash and tooltip issues

Tooltips open directly under your finger and can’t be read easily. The game freezes and becomes unresponsive in the single player mode and won’t continue even when last save is reloaded, will always freeze at the same point. After paying money for this I’m very disappointed.
  • Extraordinarily ugly game

This game is a blast from the past! While it has some classic Civ goodness, it looks right out of 2003, with hideous, muddy graphics. It’s so strange to have such a low-res release on such a lovely and capable platform as a modern iPad. There was an excuse for its Stone Age look when it was released many years ago, but now that M-powered iPads are the norm, there’s no excuse anymore. There is zero charm to a retro-styled game of this nature.
