Feature Request

There needs to be a section under the checking and savings section in the accounts tab that says “total” and gives you the total amount of money I have in my accounts. I shouldn’t have to pull out a calculator or do the math myself. At first glance I should be able to see my total balance for all accounts. That’s such a basic feature it surprises me that anyone had to be told to do that. 3 stars because of this major major oversight. I’ll update the rating if it’s ever rectified.

Missing Home Screen widgets

Since installing iOS 18, pre iOS 14 widgets are no longer available to add. I no longer have a way to look at my account balance like I am able to for other card providers such as Discover who had iOS 14 style widgets already. These Home Screen widgets have been available for developers to add for their apps 4 years now, so I am not sure why the mobile development team for TFCU’s iOS app hasn’t added them. Please prioritize adding them with iOS 18 now available to general users. Thanks.

Who ever it may concern

Excellent review for your worker Linda Fitzpatrick from your south setauket bank!! Linda is soooo patient and kind when dealing with us (the elderly) ! She takes the time to explain in our language the situation and corrects any issues we may have! And always with a beautiful smile! If ever we have an issue we can even call her and she usually promptly returns calls !!! We give Linda 5 stars and hope she is recognized by you as an outstanding leader at your bank! Horrible Bank with bad App

This has to be one of the worst banks I’ve ever had the displeasure of having my money sent to. My deposits are always late or delayed and never deposited on the right day and this is especially frustrating when I need that money right then on the posted deposit date. The constant declining of card when making multiple transactions is very frustrating as well as the constant asking about whether we made a purchase.

Please add iOS 14 widgets

App works great, and I’m able to view my account balance and do common actions. Only issue I have is that I would like to see iOS 14 widgets be made available. While the app offers pre-iOS 14 widgets, it’s only constrained to the left most widget view from home and to the bottom which isn’t useful if I want to see account balance info over all other widgets I added. It would be great for me to be able to view my balance from the Home Screen too.

Glad it’s just not just for Teachers!

Me and my partner joined a year ago. We went in to open a joint account and ended up having a full conversation about comic con and Naruto with the bank teller. They made us feel taken care of and right at home. They’re great in there and actually care about who walks in. Thanks for helping us make our dreams a reality!

Label Accounts

I would have given it a 5 stars but, I wish I was able to label the accounts ex: Person checking, joint checking, daughters checking. I have put money in the wrong account many times, because the numbers are so similar and I mistakenly click the wrong one. Then I have to undo everything. The label would fix that completely.

Worst loan comp ever

This company has always been late to report to the credit bureaus when payments are made on time by about 10 days so it constantly shows me being ‘late’ when records show I was not so my credit dips then comes back up every month. Last year, my car was repossessed and when I called Teachers they said it was a mistake since everything was paid but they couldn’t do anything so I had to get a ride an hour away to pick my car up. This morning what do you know? MY CAR IS GONE AGAIN. Teachers says oops, you’re paid up to date, idk what happened but yes they put an order in for it to be repossessed. This is beyond frustrating to deal with. No compensation, no accountability, nothing helpful from this company. Don’t get a loan from them you’ll regret it.

I think they are a terrible bank esp for being a credit union.

I feel they are great to other people who have money.

Kicked back a payment of mine over $10, when they see I get direct deposit every week and 2 days after we made a large deposit. They did not even notify me or give me a chance to deposit the $10, kicked back my pseg $487 payment over $10 bc Netflix monthly fee came through unexpected. No call from the bank or anything so then they not only rejected my payment but charged me $32 on top of that and so did pseg over $10 to their direct deposit customer.

Aside from that, my sister and I work for the same company, she banks w Chase bank, her paycheck is available on Saturdays, mine not until Monday.

Will definitely have to change banks and recommend the same to others.

Hello, with the app you are able to set up push notifications and alerts regarding transactions as well as balance as well as balance notification. To do so please log in to your app select more> settings icon (gear at the top right)> push notification.
