Compatibility?
I was wondering if I can use a different stylus rather than the apple pencil, I have 2017 iPad model (doesn’t have Apple Pencil support), and if I can work independently from my MacBook with any program that I have on my MacOS system.
It’s very laggy 😭😭😭
I downloaded the Luna Display for both my iPad and my MacBook in order for it to work. I don’t have the 80 dollar flash drive they offer so I used my usb charger. The app is good, but it could have been rated as 5 stars if my iPad wasn’t so laggy. I have the iPad Air 2 and I own an MacBook Pro that was made around 2011ish. I’m not sure if it’s because my iPad Air 2 isn’t as compatible as the iPad Pro, but this app has a lot of potential of being one of the best displays so I hope they fix this sort of problem 😭😭

Fantastic
Note that this requires a hardware dongle!
I am traveling and enjoy using a second screen for work. I am really appreciating this.
In general, it has fast retina updates to the screen and I forget that I am wirelessly connected. When I scroll text sometimes the retina sharpness takes a second to update.

Second monitor made simple
As a regular user of Astropad Studio to mirror work between my Macbook Pro and iPad, it's great to have the option to use the iPad as a second monitor via Luna. Easy to set up and use.
Testing The Beta
Testing the Beta, and very I impressed. A small device is plugged into the MiniDisplay port on my MacBook Air and the iPad becomes my extended display. Using this on the road to work on projects where I need to see two displays. The iPad screen also allows me to move the mouse and click on settings. Extremely useful. Have not hit any issues yet.

Fantastic solution!
I am a beta tester for the Luna Display hardware and software. I backed the project on Kickstarter. Luna rocks! I use an iPad Pro as a second display for my 2010-era iMac and my 2015-era Retina MacBook Pro. Setup is a breeze, and the display is excellent. I can move windows between desktops and the motion is fluid and snappy. Performance over WiFi is very good and the cable provides another connectivity solution where space permits. Fantastic for remote workers!

Fantastic for a second screen on the go
I managed to get beta hardware access and Luna has become a great way for me to extend my screen real estate when I’m in coffee shops or coworking spaces. The performance is great; even over WiFi there is rarely pixelation and it doesn’t seem to eat much into my battery life. I use the retina setting for the best look.
