Customer service doesn’t respond to questions
Customer service was helpful initially but then went MIA, I tried to return the product but apparently they are Canadian and the package went to their US forwarding address. No support, no product, and no refund.Kievguy
Severe battery drain
There are great features available in this app, but if using the auto open/close you will be forced to deal with horrible battery drain. I can have a full battery at 9pm and the wake up at 6am to find my phone at less than 10%. Battery stats report extreme use by the app. Turning off Bluetooth and restarting the phone sorts out the drain, but it always comes back.Show lessnfnonsense
Great addition to our home
We had some gear stolen from our garage when we failed to close the door one evening. I got Tailwind soon after and it has been great.
We have little kids in car seats so my hands are always full when we walk from the garage to the back door. Tailwind reminds me the door is open...it’s such a help.

Service Outages and Issues with Car Homelink Garage Openers
I can think of 3 times of service outage of ~1 day in recent memory... not good, especially when the device seems to cause my car Homelink to not work a high percentage of the time - meaning when it’s not working sometimes I have to get out of the car to close the garage doorjosh h miller
Okay - but lost Alexa link
Good system. Company was helpful in set up. I would have rated it 5 stars it when I could voice control the garage door, but it lost the link with Alexa. Called Amazon and they did not know how to fix it. Called the company a couple of times but got no response. That knock the rating down.ebiker135
Great app, crasher bug prevents use on iPad
Love the app. Use it all the time on my iPhone. Tried installing it on my iPad, but every time I click “login” the app immediately crashes. Hopefully they fix this issue!Draft1
Consistent backgrounding problem
I pretty much always have to kill the app if it’s been launched recently, otherwise it won’t connect. I get a really long loading indicator and then “device offline”.
If I kill the app and restart, it connects instantly.jamezilla
Awful
Absolutely awful app. Logs me out, then when I try to log in, it tells me my password is wrong. When I try to reset the password, it tells me my email address is wrong. Finally, it kicks me out altogether. Would love to try the product itself but no luck.John Lobert
