  • Not worth the time

    I have had this app for a few years now along with another very similar app. I have earned $40 in 3 years on this app, while I earned $400 on the other app using the same receipts.
    On top of that, when I went to redeem my points for gift cards, it said no retailers nearby. I have tried this in other area as well to see if I was near anything while I was in another city. The second option is to redeem your points for cash to your PayPal account, however they reduce the amount by 50% if you choose to use that option.
    Honestly, this app has been a waste of my time. It could be a good app if they operated like the ‘other apo’ and gave more points/cash back and actually had a lot of retailers to redeem your points with buy otherwise I have honestly been wasting my time and they haven’t improved their app the whole time. I’ll be deleting this app.

  • Worst app ever! Go with Upside instead

    This app is a joke! Rewards are Pennies on each purchase, they won’t grant rewards for receipts over a certain amount. Anyone with a large vehicle with these high gas prices today would be over the limit. They take half of the Pennies one manages to rack up. They only allow the use of so many cards per profile; I have far more credit cards I would use to buy gas than they allow so half of my gas purchases I can’t get rewarded for. When you cash out it takes literally weeks to receive a meager $5 that takes a year or more to earn. There are plenty of other apps that are much more reasonable and rewarding, like Upside, don’t waste your time and energy with this one.

  • Horrible App

    I have been trying to use this app for a couple years now and am about to give up. I use several apps for groceries and receipts but this one is far and away the worse. 75% of the time they deny my receipt. The reason they keep giving me is that don’t accept “Prepay” receipts. Well first of all almost all gas stations require you to prepay these days because of all the crooks out there. So Trunow wants you to walk back in the station to get a “final” receipt which is a waste of time and paper. And all this for maybe 10 cents. (Which when they pay out they only give you half of it so it ends up being 5 cents.) Secondly the receipts that they have accepted of mine were also “prepay” receipts so their excuse of not accepting prepay receipts is apparently not true anyways. Don’t waste your time. The frustration is not worth it!!!
