𝑨𝒑𝒑𝒍𝒚 𝑼𝒑𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒐 𝑪𝒐𝒅𝒆 “𝑩𝑮𝟔𝑻𝟒𝑿” 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒖𝒑 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝒃𝒐𝒏𝒖𝒔. It does what it says it does. I've saved $40 on gas so far, and this app is free. So that's very nice. But it's a very frustrating app to use. The app works fine until it's time to actually prove to it that you filled up at the gas station with the offer you “claimed”. The app instructs you to tap a button that doesn't exist on the screen in order to “arrive" at the gas station. So I looked it up online and people say you have to log out and log back in. Then it prompts you with the option to "upload receipt” which is what I do. But now the scanning technology which scans your receipt on the app doesn't work anymore! So I have to upload a pic instead.
Logging out and logging back in after you've claimed your offer is what makes it eventually work, but not every time. Sometimes I have to wait a few hours after I've completed the transaction before logging out and logging back in will prompt the option to "upload receipt", which appears to be the only way I can prove to Upside I completed the transaction.
It always works eventually, and I've saved $40 so far so that really is nice, but the app is buggy and has these issues. I really hope they fix it, it would be a dream to have this app finally just be smooth throughout the whole experience. But as of now it is a chore, they do make you work a bit for the savings.Show lessoliviascott3219
Love the app, needs some updates FEEDBACK & SOLUTION INCLUDED
I love the app however it needs the option to snap a picture of the receipt with each transaction for record keeping purposes. I have been a user for a couple years now and I love the app, I’ve been here for all the upgrades and overall the app has came a long way. HOWEVER, lately the “check in” feature has become hit or miss as it doesn’t always catch my transaction causing me not to receive the cash back on some purchases, it doesn’t happen with every transaction or at specific locations/companies it’s totally random so I would LOVE to see the snap a receipt option for each transaction as it can be used not only for the customers transaction records (i.e needing to pull up gas receipts for any reason) but also for any issues that may arise customer service wise to resolve any discrepancies etc. I have cashed out many times and always received the money, I’ve been earning for 2 years using this feature many times with no issues until as of recent and I have never had any of my card information compromised after using it in the app so over all it gets 4/5 for me as it is a legitimate app it just needs some additional features/updates! It works its real and I love it minus the few minor issues.Show lessBoss Ette

I drive for DoorDash, Instacart, & recently started driving for Lyft.
To say I spend a lot of money on gas is an understatement. I have been able to make back almost 100$ in less than 3 months using Upside! I use the map to find the best cash back gas station near my area, which is also convenient for me to see the cost per gallon before driving to a station. Love that I can use my cash back for either gift cards OR cash to my bank (which is always spent back on gas 😭) I have a few receipts that expired meaning I won’t get my cash back & that can be frustrating when you know you spent 40$ on gas & went to a gas station you’ve already spent money at before without any issues getting upside cash back but for the most part i have had a great experience using this app! I do wish they could get quick trip to get on board with the app…also haven’t tried the restaurant side of the app yet but I’m sure it’s just as easy & worthwhile. My only complaint would be the app assumes I want to use a specific card to pay, & if not careful you will loose your cash back….ALWAYS double check what card it shows “I’ve paid with this card” before hitting submit or you will loose your cash back!
