Hate the NEW app
The new app makes it more difficult to get the jobs you want. When you the the notifications (with no sound) you click on it but it does not take you to the new job. It takes you to a long list of jobs that only have date and time. It does not have the school showing like before. You have to click on it first to see the school. There aren’t a lot of jobs near me so these changes have me nervous about not getting to jobs fast enough.Show lessMrsFJMJ
Great Update from the old App
I love the look of this new interface. Great color scheme as well as great design. The functionality of the app itself is great so far! Much easier to see all shift info as well as needed to update shifts and such! Great steps forward!ckirk64
Horrible, Horrible Interface
The app was “simplified” alright! Not that it was ever great to begin with, but now when browsing for available substitute positions, one must individually tap on each listed job opening to see what school the job is for! How inconvenient! On top of that, it is nearly impossible to keep up with what job openings have been viewed and what ones haven’t. This makes it EXTREMELY difficult to tell whether one has checked each listing or not to see what is best for him or her. Beforehand, the job openings were listed in a user-friendly way—all of the school names with available jobs on the front page. Absolutely horrible design now. Ugh
I have to delete and reinstall this app at least 3 times a week. It just randomly stops opening up. It’s very frustrating when I get a alert that there is a job available, but when I try to go look at it, the app won’t open.AnoelCouture89
Love the job, app is great when it works
I have been using this app since Aug 2019 and I would say about 85%-90% of the time it works as it should. Lately though, it has been running slow, not letting me clock in/out for the day or lunch. It just spins. The paycheck stubs won’t always open and emailed. The last month I have had trouble between verizon and spur app, sometimes it won’t load at all.Show lessFp2000
Terrible
Don’t be deceived they say your excused for medical purpose with acceptable clearance. Went on leave of absence in which they told me they will get a sub upon my return only to get notified that my position is taken. They are LIARS. Im in recovery and making arrangements for my newborn and I feel that their pushy. I ain’t a yo yo I’m not going to bounce here there and elsewhere. Plus their app is trash. Always trouble clocking in and out. And when you put in your time they adjusting it to what they feel like they want. I don’t like nobody controlling my money. I work my time and would like to get paid as such with no one adjusting it to what they feel. So yes it’s a good idea with the courtesy and easy push In but bad idea with them putting in times they want also the workplace. Sometimes you don’t even go on break and they editing your time to take break. Ain’t worth the stressShow lesslovelife20

Great idea... not available in all states
Should be the first thing mentioned when signing up for an account! Go all the way through the signup process just to be told “sorry, not available in your state!”
