Better than Good Notes!!! But one issue...
I’ve been using Noteshelf for a couple of years now, and it’s so much better than Good Notes or Notability. I love everything about this app BUT...one bug I’ve noticed that is really annoying is that suddenly, the eraser just randomly turns on and I end up erasing what I just wrote - I always push UNDO, but it’s something that could be disastrous if I don’t notice it in time. Fill Tool!
Please consider adding a fill tool for shapes that have been drawn - there is currently no way of doing this but for colouring in each shape by hand which always looks messy. This is a feature in apple scribble, so please incorporate it if possible. Other than this, this is my go to notes app for lectures and general notetaking.Show lessLuigiLouis98
Noteshelf is really great, just one thing keeps me using Goodnotes
Writing on Noteshelf is simply a pleasure, it is so smooth, the virtual pencil options are very elegant and well designed, it even seems my handwriting becomes (barely) legible. Evernote integration is very handy, much easier than exporting each note (though it could be much easier if you could set it to sync all new notes by default...), it was what made me buy it.
There is one small detail that makes me continue using Goodnotes: the paid Mac app, which costs $9 (while Goodnotes offers it for free for its iPadOS paid users). Given the limited function a Mac handwriting app has (how many of us have a tablet, my older Mac won’t even run Sidecar), it seems really foolish to pay extra just to be able to see and export my notes from an app I already paid for. The App. is very good for writing nots and need more few things to be compatible and powerful for saving notes and idea planing which they are :
Adding support with Arabic language.
Adding fonts sizes for both English and Arabic languages with text writing .
Adding different types of fonts for both languages.
Adding colors for fonts with writing text because the text is only with black text color.

When I choose to draw the auto shapes ( square,circle, triangle, rectangle ) need to pull them one from another shape to shape automatically and connected with line between them automatically, so I can write inside them a text and supported with Apple Pencil hand writing inside them and can turn it to text with English and Arabic writing more faster, what ever the
shapes are pulled and placed them in note .
Its very important to me because am using it every day .
Am sure later this App. will get five star and more ,

Great app but...
I would like to see a capability to hide the quick create note from the screen. Would prefer more titling choices on the books, even the original version was better for this. I also really miss the shelf design and the look of the pens in the original version.
Looks are important to the customer and a choice of either look would be a big plus....
That said, a truly great app in every way, but a slight step back aesthetically speaking.Show lessriplee
Worked for a time and not anymore
I am using this app for quite a long time, taking notes from my classes. After I finish each class I transfer my notebook in PDF format to my PC, in order to keep my notes in the same folder where I have other documents from the same class. After the file in PDF is generated, I normally transfer it via Google Drive. BUT IT IS NOT HAPPENING ANYMORE ! WHILE GENERATING THE PDF FILE THE APP JUST CRASHES WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION! I already sent two e-mails to the developers and no answer was provided. So, my only solution was to buy another app and abandon this one, unfortunately with some notebooks trapped in it.Show lessPolimont
Could be great, but major syncing issues between devices.
I almost love this app, but the syncing issues are a dealbreaker, as is the poor customer support. My iPhone can’t import any native Noteshelf docs from Google drive. At first I thought it was just docs created on my iPad, but it doesn’t even see folders or docs created on the iPhone itself. Sent this issue to support but received no reply. I was an avid Notability user for 2 years until I found this app! It combines notability and goodnotes so you get the best of both! There are plenty of cover and template options to choose from, as well as free ones offered. With multiple pen styles you can make your notes beautiful as well!
The only thing I miss from notability is their in-app marketplace where you could purchase stickers and planners to seamlessly add to the app. I would love to see a similar feature, or even a way to add uploaded stickers with just a few clicks instead of importing them each time.Show lessoliviaskyec
