2nd review
I’ve had this APP for over two years. I love the MELT Method and am a loyal MELTER. I am so disappointed-this APP is almost in usable. I have been contacting Customer Service for 2 years in an attempt to help them make the app better by reporting the issues. I am told that I need to access MELT through my Chrome Browser. Of course when I do this, the site thinks I am a new customer and 2 ads pop up making it very difficult to actually log in. All around the experience is frustrating and disappointing.

Please check again as we have made many improvements to our initial launch on the new platform including search! Feel free to contact help@meltmethod.com if you have additional issues.
Can’t Get Back In & Hard to Rewind
The app is clunky to use. It logged me out and I’ve tried the forgot password several times and it won’t send me a password rest email.
When you are in the app, it doesn’t have a 10 second rewind button, you have to try to scroll the play button over and it’s challenging to get back to something you didn’t hear. There’s no reason in 2024 that you can’t have an easy to use app with some videos in it.

I feel younger
Blessed to have MELT in my life. My body feels younger than it did 10 years ago.
Can’t be without Melt on Demand and my Melt roller
Absolutely can’t life without this app, I love Melt on Demand. A chance to explore so many different classes, not have to think myself and just follow, easily searchable on the app, what it is I need to look at for my own body. Broadening my knowledge and supporting my own body in a way that keeps me out of pain, mobile and excitingly able to exercise (swim) when previously I struggled with pain after any swimming.

Such great instruction
I love this app, especially when it can take a live class and hear all the instructions to help keep my body balanced and flexible. I also like being able to search for areas of the body that I am feeling tightness or pain and get a specific video to help.

Glad you like it! Happy MELTing 💙
Melt is amazing! The app is a tragedy
I am a long time melt user. I can’t say enough good things about the method. Everyone would benefit from it. The app however, is chaotic, crowded, and not user friendly. It is a frustrating experience each time I want to use it. Starting with signing in twice every time I need to use the app. The first and older version was not perfect but it was clean, useable and less crowded.
It was easy to find the right maps, save favorites and such. Now, if I need a neck release map, for example I’m given so many options (29 to be specific). When I tap in any of the videos, each one is a long class-like platform with too many crowded and unnecessary options ( camera to record myself, list of people I don’t know and will not be necessary to connect with,…for what ?!)
Sue has made plenty of videos specific enough to help with individual problem and imbalances. Now, it seems that every instructor that has taken melt certifications is in the app. Maybe Melt should be organized into users and instructors with different apps.
Gone are the shorter, more specific uncluttered choices with an easy format that made Melting on demand easier.
Every time I go in frustrates me and makes me want to quit my 5+ years subscription.
Please fix it :(

Frustrated…. Not user friendly
Im frustrated- i bough this account which is not very useful when just about everytime i go to use it- you must log in! They should make it where you can choose to stay logged in! Its stressful to go check my numbers n get a reading & it takes so long to double log in! Also i had hopped that i would be able to find & make workout playlist to do on a schedule to make it most beneficial for my needs. I like that i can cast ti my smart tv but whats the point when the search function isnt great- n the log in issues! I need it to stay logged in. Please make it more user friendly & fix the log in playlist issue. Dont want to boot up my computer each time i want to workout!

Not ADA compliant/friendly at all.
I can’t remember what the web and app standards are called, but I’m pretty sure this app is not compliant. Even if it “technically” is, it’s so disappointing. If you are hearing/sight impaired or have an intellectual disability, you are basically excluded from using this. Pretty awful for something healthcare related. The player needs a 15 second rewind and 30 second forward feature and the player needs to offer the user the ability to speed up or slowdown the video. I had no idea that a player without these features even existed any longer. My podiatrist, physio, and OT all recommended MELT because it is awesome. I’ve been paying for over a year and rarely use it because it’s too frustrating to try and go back and hear what was said. The instructors speak really fast.

Disappointing
Sue Hitzmann, MELT originator, is genius at instructing this method. The app offers videos to start, sustain, and advance your home practice.
Unfortunately, the videos vary in quality. The Abdominal Attunement video, for example, is missing its soundtrack. Although there may be other videos related to abdominal strength, according to customer service, I particularly want to hear what Sue has to say in this one.
Another example: The Golf Prep video is washed out to yellow. How embarrassing to promote MOD to friends and clients and end up showing them a video like that. Color correction, people!
Four other suggestions for making the app better: 1) add 10 second rewind and fast forward buttons to allow for quick review and quick navigation to desired segments. 2) add the option to stay signed in. 3) keep the “leaderboard” from repeatedly sliding onto the main window from the screen's right edge. 4) make transcripts of each video available so we can review what Sue's teaching in print (and substitute for a missing soundtrack, if need be).

Joan
I love the melt method, but hate the new app. Like other reviews I am frustrated by the unnecessarily redundant sign in. I should not have to enter my email twice. There should be a way to remember my info. The old app seemed to have that function. Also, once I finish a class I get stuck in that place. I haven’t figured out how to go to home page and end up closing the program and opening again with the login starting all over again.
