Many improvements needed
I think the app has potential. However, it will need to be updated to do the followings:
1. Service connection must be fast enough so users can view the moving objects which triggered the notification.
2. Recording doesn’t always work since sometimes I went back and it didn’t have anything on the cloud. I would imagine for every activity notification I should get a video clip or snapshot to go with it. If not, the app shouldn’t send that notification. I think a good solution for this would be to have a the doorbell wake up and start recording and if the movement persists for more then 10, 15 secs, then send a notification with a video clip. This will filter out a lot of unnecessary alerts.
3. The app should allow for targeting motion detection for a specific zone at a specific range so it wouldn’t go off all time. I have a little tree in front of my house and each time the wind blows through which caused the tree to move, a notification is sent to me.
4. The app should only send the notification if it detect a person or animal movement only.Show lessghghvhj

Doesn’t work
Your app does not work.. you cannot go back and see a live look of prior activity.. what’s the point of having the camera except for real time views? It’s ridiculousShwise

Video doorbell disconnected removed battery and the app is still ringing saying there is activity is there another app that can be used ughangry sad 1
Would be awesome
This would be a great product if the app worked. I cannot get or stay logged in. I enter the same password at least 5 times before it works. The motion sensor goes off constantly but won’t give me the ability to log in and see what is happening. There’s no way to turn off the notifications.

Gives me a fail to bind error message and won’t send me push notifications so it’s pretty pointless without the notifications when it detects something .tbw31988
Power supply?
The setup and pairing procedure is very quick and easy! It would be more convenient if the USB charge port was accessible without taking the unit apart. Could you please recommend a specific AC/DC power supply that works with it?$$$BG
Great Camera But Annoying Bell
We live our UBell but here lately instead of just ringing 3 times like it use to it rings 9 times. We have tried to uninstall and reinstall but it does not good. Please fix this issue or we are going to buy a ring to replace it.DMPatterson
VERY LIMITED
This does interface with the doorbell however it’s almost impossible to review the recordings unless you’ve got a couple hours to find the exact spot. Then there’s no way to schedule the PIR (motion detection). The low sensitivity setting of the PIR sensor is still too sensitive for any type of Urban environment. The most annoying thing is you can’t change the tone that it uses which it “ding dongs” 5 or 6 times just for motion detection. You can’t expect people that actually have jobs during the day to have this feature installed as it would be entirely too disruptive. It only pushes a notification not any type of image preview to the phone and there’s no option to do this.Show lessJB616
Works well with the OnLyee 1080p video doorbell
I got the OnLyee Video Doorbell on amazon and the UBell app was needed to set it up and view the doorbell video.
App looks nice and very stable on my iPhone 7s, never crashed, opens fast and never misses the push notifications from the doorbell.
It allows two-way audio and live view from the doorbell and also works very well with the cloud videos and as well as video and pics from the micro SD memory card.
From the UBell app I can also configure all the settings of my doorbell including the PIR motion detection, the sleep timer, the push notifications and perform firmware updates among other things.
I hope the developers will continue doing the good work on this app.Show lessPeter_BigFish
