Won’t let me make an account
So I moved into a new home that had a glas thermostat installed. Looked it up and saw I can connect to an app to change the temp of my home from my phone and thought it was a great idea. However after trying 3 different emails it will NOT let me make an account. So I thought maybe it was still linked to whoever use to live here and reset the entire device and tried again. Still no luck, so I went online to try to make an account and they don’t have a way to create an account online. So idk what I’m doing wrong but what’s the point of an app that you can’t even create an account on. I’d give it 0 stars if it was an option. I haven’t given up tho and will update if I ever I’m ever aloud to create one.Show lessJack from State Farm
Can’t even make an account
I’ve must have tried at least 3 different emails to make an account to even try and use this stupid app to no avail. Every time I get a failure notification asking if I have an account already. Don’t know why I’d need 3 different emails with 3 different accounts so I know I don’t. Not to mention the loading time for the app to start up. Might as well get up and change it yourself because your gonna be waiting a good minute to load in. But I’ve never got to use the app so maybe that changes if your allowed to make an account who knows. Good luck to all others tho!!Show lessApp

Horrible app
I’ve installed and use many different types of thermostats being an HVAC technician and by far I would say this has got to be the worst! From connectivity to something simple as retaining your password for easy login.Horrible app. DELETE!!!
Dismal
Absolutely horrible app and you can tell by the lack of updates. Slower than a snail to load and then you have to log in EVERY time… it’s 2022 almost 2023 and Face ID should be included and the fact it can stay logged in but I guess one shouldn’t expect much when it’s clear they don’t care about the app anymore.Show lessFitness12
Not useful
Last update for app was 3 years ago…login doesn’t save and you have to retype your info regularly, when it does load it is slow to. The whole point in an app is convenience and this app has none at all. With Face ID and some optimization this could be good but without it, as mentioned by others, i find myself walk to the thermostat instead of using the app.Show lessShooter044

Absolutely junk App and Service. Never loads. Even with full bars, won’t keep you logged in for more then 24 hours. Developers could care less. Do not buy this thermostat …..Dirty_30_Design
Worst app I’ve ever used I’m my life
Absolutely horrible app, never updates. Signs you out every single time you use it. Doesn’t load half the time and can never get ahold of customer support. I would not recommend this product to anyone. But a different thermostat so you can avoid this garbage!!! Not worth the money for the headache. Garbage
App is Straight garbage, I have to log in every day to use and it’s very slow to open. Another problem is that it stopped working with google home. About to get me another thermostat in all.Ray10001
Discontinued
The JCI website says that they are no longer supporting GLAS or the app.
I live the thermostat despite overpaying for it.
Sometimes I think JCI will rush something to market and then quickly give up on it when they fail to get immediate 100% acceptance of the product.GenoaJay
