Awful app
The actual thermostat is awesome! Looks sleek and nice and never has issues. The app on the other hand, is terrible. It takes so so long to load and when it does, it has logged me out! Every single time i get on the app i am logged out. There is no option to stay logged in so i am not sure if this is an issue with the app or intentional. Either way, it takes me longer to log back in, change the temperature, wait for it to register the change, and actually turn the unit on than for me to just get up and change the temperature on the actual thermostat. This app is pathetic for the year 2022. Seriously, fix this app its absolutely miserable to use.Show lessroxy48487
This is ridiculous!
People have been complaining for the past 2 years about getting logged out every time, this company doesn’t seem to care, very disappointed to have paid so much money for this thermostat, and still have to get up in the middle of the night and go all the way downstairs just to change the settings on the thermostat, would NOT recommend this thermostat.Show lessAmyal 021

Complain to BBB
Johnson Controls has discontinued all app and Alexa support despite touting those features in their promotional materials. Please contact the BBB to complain. Maybe enough pressure will get them to devote the minimal resources to keep the promised features running.PeteP90027
Cool thermostat. Worst app invented.
I would give this zero stars if I could. Takes incredibly long to load, respond, log in… anything you’d do on a normal app. It’s been like this for years so it’s clear the company has no current developer support or means to follow up on customer satisfaction.

The worst app in the world
I wish I could give zero star to this app. It gives me so much trouble that I wanted to return the thermostat. At least 3 times in a few months owning the GLAS. I like the thermostat but late the app. They are not compatible. I would like the developer to eliminate the app all together and create something better. Right now I’m still not able to use it properly even normally. It keeps saying my password is wrong which I’m sure it’s untrue. I have to sign in every single time. I wasn’t able to reset my password. I called the CS but they are not helpful at all. This App is a complete failure.Show lesscfhome
Sometimes…
…the app takes sooooo long to load I just walk to the Glas on the wall and change the temp. All the while the app is still grinding its gears seemingly using 1% of the computational power our smart phones and tablets have nowadays. WiFi is super fast and not overcrowded, no issues with WiFi lights, WiFi locks, WiFi cams etc.
The coding in this app must be seriously flawed for it to take soooooo long to connect.
Been over 2 years since an update came out which was just added support for another device and not the issues many users are complaining about. Just like most of these types of apps that support some kind of hardware, the app part is superbly lacking. As if made by a kid in an attic with coding aspirations. In fact, the app would probably work better if that had been the case. Shame on this app for pulling down the experience of an otherwise awesome hardware product.Show less@UrMomsPlace
Good product, terrible software
I really want to love this product it’s very sleek and looks better than the best and other thermostats I’ve seen. It works great when controlling from the actual console. But this app is absolute trash. Everytime I add something to my schedule it disappears so I can’t actually see when I have scheduled away times. My thermostat turns up when I leave as I scheduled but I come home and it never turns back on. I’m tired of coming home to a hot house. Also the app is slow and just doesn’t have the features other do. Just save yourself and get another product.Show lessEvelynRose112

Password
The password does not save on your phone and does not have fingerprint reader to logon to the app. Very frustrating when two months later the app is asking to enter a password.jaimenoguera
