Great Combination
I purchased the butler in combination of a Whynter CHC 122BD cigar and Boveda packs. After seasoning it for 14 days with 84% RH packs and then loading it up 72%RH packs with 70 cigars it dropped from 80% to 66% and over 12 days it has made it to 69%. The Butler has lost connection a couple times but seems to be doing a great job. I have calibrated it once and it is +/- 2.4%. I wish/hope it will have a tighter range as I calibrate it monthly. I want to have my cigars at 72RH and I Hope this combination will do it.Show lessCliff Claven

I’ve gotten this since they came out . Various problems with how they read humidity even after multi calibration. Push notifications were also bad . Now I’m on my 10 set (20 units) and constant change in humidity from minute to minute just about , which also killed the batteries in about a month , one is dead other is at or below 25% .
I was really looking forward to using this product , but since I’ve been using them , there just working as intended or I have just had really bad luck with them .Show lessTonyx346

The Butler is OK
I have four Butlers synchronized to my App. It is important to conduct the “calibration” procedure first. You want to insure the reading is accurate as an be expected. Place your humidors several feet away from each other so as to not cross the lines of transmission. Otherwise you will get back and forth interference connection to the App. Like any hygrometer, give the Butler plenty of time to settle in before taking the data seriously. These Boveda Butlers work best with Boveda humidifiers. Using a fan driven humidifier like Cigar Oasis can cause the readings (temperature too) to change abruptly.Show lessAggravated and irritated

I really like this product I live in a three floor Condo and I have no problem with the blue tooth. Readings are accurate as i have check with 2 other hydrometers and temps with thermometer.. my only issue how far is with the Boveda RH packs. Using a 72% RH pack having trouble keeping it at 67%.. but the Hydrometer is great. Still learning it as it is new system.. called customer service and they were helpfulShow lessnewark1106

Removes the guesswork out of protecting cigars and monitoring the humidor. I recently reseasoned my humidor and decided to go with the seasoning pack and Smart Sensor. Seems to be accurate as it matches both analog and digital hydrometers that I already had. Setup was quick and easy. Good estimator
This is a pretty neat device for your medical cannabis. Just stick it to the top of the mason jar and I throw in a 8 gram pack. Has been good s far. Although have put in 58% packs and it’s been above or below 58% never at. But I had kinda forgot about it now. It will let me know when I need to order more 58% Boveda packs for my medical cannabis. It’s such a good buy compared to other cannabis monitors. The butler is the butler: I bought the cigar one, and was a able select all of the Boveda’s main uses to watch Over humidity. I know there was cigars, herbs, music, and I think one other. It is a great little tool. Not hard to calibrate. Even has a sensor to send you an alert to your phone if your stash is being tampered with, which I thought was cool, but you set it 56%-63% humidity, it’s been staying at 61% humidity. Calibration was easy, but I don’t know if it automatically changed anything. Said that it was of 2% humidity when I calibrated it, so don’t know if I’m spouse to take 2% off, or has it done that, and the 58% 8g pack in a 8 oz elite ball jar, with a quarter of some high quality medical cannabis. Might not be exact, but I figure if it goes out of 56%-63% humidity then it’s probably time to replace. It will send an alert to your phone if the humidity Is off. Great little device for the money. Great Device
This device was very easy to to setup and connects well to my device. I am currently seasoning my humidor and like checking the progress. I have not tried connecting another device so I can check in on it while away, but glad there is that option. The price was great and the app works well.IndySticks
Easy to use and accurate
I was looking for an easy way to track my RH and Temp and this looked like the answer. It came with a calibration pack that was simple to use and so far has been flawless in reporting info via the app. Since my only other source of RH info is the analog hygrometer in my humidor (NewAir CC-100H) I cannot guarantee its accuracy, but when I was seasoning the humidor with 84% Boveda packs it read 83-84% and now with 69% packs it reads 68-69% so I think it is spot on. The temp should be accurate as well as it is a couple of degrees off of the notoriously high (false) reading on the LCD display of the humidor. I highly recommend this unit.Show lessSorcerer Tim
Excellent product!!
I’ve only had mine for a short time but I can tell you that it’s the best I’ve used. One thing tho, make sure that you calibrate the unit for accuracy!! I was so excited to get mine I tried using it immediately and found out that it isn’t accurate till it’s calibrated!! Last resort is read the directions!! Lol I will be buying more for my other humidors.
