We fixed a couple of bugs to keep things running smoothly for our members. First, we’ve resolved an issue that was causing a blank screen when members tried to reset their password. Additionally, we’ve corrected some issues with viewing digital ID cards. With this update, viewing ID cards within the app won’t obstruct any navigation elements. We also fixed a problem where scrolling through a list of providers could sometimes cause results to disappear.

App version 4.3.0 fixes a few minor display and formatting bugs.

Update: We fixed a bug that was preventing some members from seeing provider details after filtering search results by specialty. This was specifically impacting 'Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat)' specialists. All specialty filters are now working as expected. Additionally, we made some changes to the experience when viewing an archived policy. The search location field will now be disabled and there will be an "unavailable" label.

Filling out intake forms is easier than ever! Key ID card details (including member and group numbers) are available to 'copy' directly from the app and 'paste' wherever you need. We added new home page shortcuts for the most commonly searched conditions AND a 'set your location' prompt for members searching from an invalid address. We've squashed some bugs - including links that weren't working for some members as well as navigation issues when activating coverage.

Add the doctor you see most to the Find Care page. Once you’ve added a preferred doctor, you’ll see them each time you open the app. Then it's easy to quick access information like Medical Office Visit price and Scheduling info. Saving a doctor keeps their information handy for ongoing reference. We also added more information about costs to expect for out-of-network provider care. Click the ‘i’ tooltip on the first result page for out-of-network copay and balance billing information. If a user searches for a provider outside their policy’s networks, they’ll see an ‘out of network coverage’ button. We cured a few bugs. We fixed an error users saw to a feedback survey and back to the Surest app. Out of pocket accumulation was ‘sticking’ after filtering to previous year accumulation; that's fixed in v4.1.0. The chat option was showing outside of Surest Member Services business, so we’ve fixed that too.

  • I miss bind.

    As a person with moderate healthcare needs, bind (surest)was amazing. Beyond the transparency, the trade from deductible to Co-insurance let me spread the expenses across time rather than having to pay 3000$ or more in the first few months. My new employer has United but doesn’t offer any palatable options.
  • No Touch ID

    I like having Touch ID and many apps have it including my current insurance company. But we are switching to Surest and the app does not have that feature.

    Update - thanks to sone prompt feedback from the developer I learned it does have the feature. I used this app recently after a recent Dr visit and everything is working flawlessly. Review has changed to 5 Star.
