App nearly unusable on phone
I love the dances, the options and so many classes. That’s all great. But using the app is absolutely frustrating and it enough for me to cancel the subscription.
Open the class that you’ve previously started? It brings you to the beginning or to the last 2 seconds of video.
Pause the video so you can repeat a couple of steps? Refreshes the whole things and brings you back to the beginning of video. Not so fun when you’re 20 minutes into a 40-minute class.
Try to find the section where you’ve stopped using a scroll feature? It doesn’t work and brings you back to the beginning of the video.
Really frustrating and discouraging.

Pretty good except….
Good for learning to dance been thinking about getting a membership. Except every time I either pause, fast forward, or rewind the video it always takes me back to certain time like 7 rings by Sabrina Belen it always takes me back to either 5:15 or 9:55. Which is supper frustrating especially if I’m 2 or 3 minutes ahead and I have to rewatch that whole section just to get back to my spot.

Got billed before the free trial was supposed to end.
The free trial ended one day earlier than the made it out to be?!?! Was super surprised :(
The app is good but not worth $150 CND. Would like it better if it was songs I can recognize, which is why I prefer in person classes.

Hats off - very fun and informative
I’ve been working on a solo for three years now and had struggled to make it (it starts with hip hop and goes into modern). Until I started watching your videos and learning about concepts, textures, rhythm/beats, etc, I was lost for the most part. Because of STEEZY and its in-depth teachings and endless knowledge, I’ve been able to add moves that fit perfectly and aren’t typical run-of-the-mill. Thank you so much for helping me achieve my dream!

Great app but won’t cast to Apple TV
Great content, good app overall but for some reason it just won’t mirror to my Apple TV - the only app that has this issue. I can literally mirror my phone on TV and then it shows the class on tv but the actual feature to send to TV from the app doesn’t work.

Reading the bad reviews, it’s clear they are from kids or adults who don’t understand the concept of the app (sorry 🤷♂️). The subscription price is great for all the choreographies and lessons they include. Dance classes can get expensive irl. Overall it is a great app and very useful to learn dances.

Preen good but needs works (3.7/5)
I enjoy using STEEZY studio. Due to the lack of nearby hip-hop dance classes, this app has helped me find an alternative to enjoy dancing. However, there are some negative aspects of the app that hinders me from becoming a cohesive dancer. 1. I don't approve of the removal of the calendar feature when you open the app. It helped me stay on track with the number of times I dance throughout the year. Without it, I find it hard to document my consistency through the weeks. 2. I don’t like how it GLITCHES way too much. I’m an Apple user and it closes on its own so often. Plus, whenever I want to see the previews for dances it always takes sooo much time for it to load. 3. I noticed that the recent dances (hip hop section) arent as creative and cool as before. They seem lazy and rushed (just putting random moves into a song). I think steezy values quantity or QUALITY which isn't a good thing. Personally, I don’t get hyped or excited anymore. I suggest that steezy should invite more proficient dancers to choreograph. 4. in my opinion, I don’t think the song choices aren't good(hip hop section) Steezy should choose more hype, energetic songs that want to get people to jump, like that concert feeling. A lot of the songs aren’t songs I personally don’t get me pumped. 5. it would be cool if they added an Afro beat section to the dance categories. As a Nigerian since afrobeat has gotten popular over the years and on TikTok it's fair to add a section for other people to learn.

youtube is free
its very expensive and the app only have few classes. I will just search the tutorial dance of my fave songs/kpop in youtube for free. I dont want to spend my money here

I really love this app. I've been using it for only a couple of minutes. But i really wish that more dances were free and don't require premium. Anyway, absolutely love this app
