  • AMAZED! Meg goes above and beyond! I love the two amazing pairs of vintage 501xx Levi’s!

    Meg’s knowledge of vintage denim as well as the amazing collection was so helpful! Meg went above and beyond, knowing just what I was trying to convey, and pulled out a couple pairs of 501xx’s that I indeed fell in love with immediately! Two pairs. :) Meg takes individual time and care in the appointment to ensure the client is happy and satisfied and in fact it is obvious her goal was not for me to just buy jeans, it was for me to love jeans that I felt amazing in. I highly recommend making an appointment, which is complimentary! In any other town, they charge an arm & a leg! My go to is Denim Dogz for even repairing jeans or custom ordering some!   • Shopify is not wrong

    Not wrong the sense that Shopify Inbox helps with conversion. It does this because it’s super easy to communicate 1 on 1 with live web customers who have questions and the ability to respond quickly. After the easy chat setup and using it, it took on a life of its own. I’ve never been able to reach that many customers live at once. So be ready for close customer contact (game changing) or turn it on when you’re ready.

    Room for improvement: reporting and analytics by custom category, export everything. Also allow users a SHARE button to forward all or parts of conversations and contact info to email or copy to other channels. I can’t give everyone Shopify access, so let users share outside the network. Please! That would be 5 stars…

  • LOVE IT!!!

    I use Shopify for my online vegan skincare business and I am just in love with this app! It makes it so easy for me to communicate with my customers and allows me to receive their requests/messages in a timely manner! I am so happy that i decided to download this app when I moved my store to Shopify! This is a user friendly easy app to use and I love that I can instantly know when a customer needs me! THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME OBTAIN MY DREAMS!

  • Amazing feature, but I get a ton of spam

    This app is great when customers have questions and I LOVE that I can see if they have open carts. However….lately I’ve been getting nothing but spam in the middle of the night waking me up. Sometimes multiple chats over and over again at 3am. I’ve edited my store hours, but wish I could close the chat for anyone outside of the US/Canada. I know all those chats coming in the middle of the night are from overseas scammers and it’s bothering me so much I’m considering just turning the whole thing off…which I hate to do since I have closed sales with the chat feature and do really love it (in the daytime!) I hope the shopify chat developers would consider adding a location filter to the chat. 🙏🏻

    Hey, there! Thank you for your review of Inbox, and providing that feedback for us. I've got ahead and let the developers know of your feature request for a spam filter that worked based on a user's location. I can't say what will come of the request, but you can trust that the developers have been made aware. You can also block user's from contacting you by opening up the spam conversation, and hitting the '!' symbol in the upper right of the conversation box. This will prevent that user from reaching out to you again. -Imogen, Shopify Support
  • Does what it’s supposed to but…

    It gives me ghost notifications. I have went through everything I can think of, including every conversation of the thousands we have since starting this last year, and I still have a notification for an unread chat. It is very very annoying. It also needs to communicate better with the web version. I shouldn’t need to mark as complete on every conversation on every device that is used.

  • Some customers are having error issues.

    Huge error going on with some of the customers/ potential customers asking questions and or adding to cart while using messenger. It’s not allowing them to close app and they can’t add more parts to shopping cart when this happens. Send help asap.
  • Basic but works

    Extremely basic chat app with no other functionality. The notification sound is very quiet. Would be nice to be able to change that like with others. It shows you the product name the customer is looking at but that’s not really enough. It needs a clickable link to the product and to include the product SKU.
    Other website chat apps have more advanced features, like the ability to see a list of visitors on your site in real time, their location and cart. Would be nice to have that live visitor view on this app.

  • Works but….

    It constantly shows a notification on the App even through the messages have been read, responded to and closed. I have to delete the app then reinstall to clear this.
    Another issue is not being able to clear or archive old messages only to move to closed.
  • Love it but it’s not consistent

    Love this option for my customers inquiring about our hair care but it signs us out constantly and completely freezes at the most random times.
    Being able to catch a customer while on my website is vital in closing the sell so I definitely appreciate this app and all of the features.
