Does Not Integrate Well
I tried to integrate my Brilliant control with my Hue lights. Brilliant picks up all the lights, however you are not able to customize and remove the Hue lights that you do not want to control with Brilliant even though there is a remove device feature. It does not work. Brilliant support has not been helpful and has not been able to troubleshoot the problem. Further the app does not consistently pick up the lights. Poor product for an expensive price. I recommend not buying this product until it can show some significant improvement.Show lessTMOSF

Really love the wall unit. However the app is very spotty with connectivity and response. Would love to see more functionality. Would be great if the app could stay connected. Hopefully a software update will do the trickFelon9
Needs Better Security / Integration
Light switches really need a pin or passcode to access the settings menu. With kids it’s too easy and tempting for them to treat a light switch like a toy and mess up the configurations.
More integration. Needs to work with security cameras or at least work with Zwave type devices.RootisGod
Garbage
The instructions that came with the switch were incredibly vague.
The device claims to integrate with Alexa, but it really doesn't, as you cannot trigger Alexa scenes with the device with a tap.
At least it found my Hue bulbs, but oh wait, it cannot set their color! What the heck??
If I were you, I would stop trying to reinvent the wheel by creating your own ecosystem and instead invest in integrating with 3rd party services, such as IFTTT, Yonomi, Wink, or Stringify. You're not big enough to get people to adapt to your ecosystem, you should be adapting to theirs.

Lack of Rooms and Functionality
Product and App need a software upgrade to make navigation simple. On the device, it only gives you 5 rooms? What about Foyers, etc? I have lights (hue) in a studio and I had to put them under bedroom or bathroom due to lack of categories available. On the App, why can’t we create scenes? Allows basic functions, but needs improvements
The brilliant light switches are awesome. We enjoy ours. The app, however, is extremely limited in its functionality. There are several things on iOS it could take advantage of – for instance, A widget for quick access to scenes and favorite controls, streaming from the controls camera into the app, HomeKit integration so that Siri can control my Brilliant controls. If the Brilliant team needs help with these features on iOS, I am a Senior iOS developer currently looking for a new challenge. I can definitely help out.Show lessDrew Pitchford

The app itself does not do much or enable anything - interestingly every switch needs to be setup individually (Amazon, SmartThings, etc) - nothing is in the cloud and therefore the app can't do much to manage the switches - simply can turn stuff on and off from the app. In general I think the hardware is top notch but the software layer leaves a lot to be desired and there is not much documentation so you have to bother the (very responsive and helpful) support email to figure out how to use the devices.Show lessMysteryHawk
Brilliant
With Brilliant downstairs and upstairs, plus this app, I can control all of my connected devices from anywhere inside or outside the house. I can turn off my lights work, or at night without leaving my bed.
I even set up custom album artwork to match the decor in my house.
This app will unify all of my smart home devices in one place. Can’t wait for more integrations!Show lessaaaaaeeeeeemmmmm
