We recently had a corporate transition where our security certificate didn't transition properly. We are working to fix that password reset link in the app. In the meantime, please go to myaccount.bringhalohome.com and click "Forgot your password?". This will allow you to reset your password. If you need any additional help, please feel free to reach out: consumerproducts@cooperlighting.com or 1-800-334-8671.
  • Unable to connect 1 downlight out of 13 after multiple tries

I have 13 Halo Home smart lights. 2 on 1 switch work perfectly but I have 11 on another switch and one couldn’t be recognized. I replaced that one with a new one and it worked but then another stopped being responsive. I went through the manual reset with the switch and had to set up all the others again to find one unresponsive. When I had them all set up, I tried turning them on and off with the app and when turning off the last one, all of them came on again by themselves. I have spent many hours on this and have one unresponsive light. The only benefit is being able to dim and adjust the warmth of the lights but the turning on and off is a nightmare. Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Mostly functional

App has the nuts and bolts for controlling Halo light system. It works, but I’m not impressed. Biggest frustration is that it defaults to the individual devices and not to groups, which are effectively rooms. It creates a few extra clicks and the annoyance of usually changing one light bulb rather a whole room.

  • Motion sensor

App is confusing and motion sensor will not work.
  • Buyer beware - limited range and twitchy system

Setting this up is a nightmare in a large home. Trying for hours now to deal with my system and it is highly unresponsive. Even after setting up groups correctly and testing, it will forget a light or two. The switches seem unable to communicate consistently and forced mesh reconnections are required. I’m on the edge of trashing the whole system.

  • Halo 4inch thin LED

I am having so much fun with this app! I feel like a little kid who can’t resist playing with the light switch. I completely transformed my family room, replacing outdated, drafty 10” can lights with these ultrathin recessed lights. I love to surprise my visitors by turning on the lights from my phone. It is so cool! And I did it all myself!

  • Good burn needs some features

We have smart controllers as all our light switches. This has fantastic potential and would really benefit from some feature tweaks.

Being able to sort devices either alphabetical or by what is still on in the device menu and other menus .

Update: it’s been several months and still no update from Eaton on basic sorting of devices in the app.

  • Excellent so far!

Purchased the 4” recessed lights and the app works great with them. Added a motion sensor spot and ready to 2 more. Bought the hub but haven’t set it up yet. Seems Eaton planned it out well.
  • Outdated, crashes, limited automation abilities not communicated

Constantly have to delete and add the lights as they lose connection and that is the only way to remediate. I had 20 Halo Home 6” down lights Bluetooth, halo home light switches to go with them and internet adapter. The automation capabilities is very poor and the app gets maybe an update every 6 months with no major changes. You can only change the light color temperature when turning on or off the color of the lights. If I have scheduled the automation scene to switch to warm white at 8pm, that will NOT change only the lights that are on at that time and future ones turned on. Very disappointing as Phillips Hue has enabled this for many years now. I have replaced 14 of my Halo Home Bluetooth downlights to Philips Hue smart white ambiance because of the “good enough” and little innovation of the Halo Home Product, starting with its app.
