  • App not user friendly

    Having 2 in wall dimmers, I connected Halo Home app to them so I can at least control them from my phone and I can set up auto on abs off via app.
    It would be a lot more convenient if I could access these devices directly via Bluetooth but you have to connect to them via their Halo Home app. It takes awhile for this to occur. Bigger problem is if you have a glitch at home, like a power outage, the app will not connect to you devices. This has happened more than once. I had to delete the app, re-install, and re-register as a new client with an entirely different email address. I’m running out of email addresses 😉
    I called tech support but the woman said I would get a call from them because my problem was beyond her realm. They never called.
    So my only viable option will be to delete the app and start over as a new customer with an email address that hasn’t been used previously. Wish me luck!

    HALO Home products don't lose their programming when power is cycled to them and you don't need to do all of those steps (delete app, reinstall and create a new account). You might be dealing with a range issue. If your products are too far apart or your phone isn't within ~33-ft of 1 of your devices they may not connect.   • Never loved lights before!

    Halo home is so easy. The app does funny things sometimes but I love being able to control my lights with Alexa.
  • Lights will not connect!

    I purchased two of these for my kitchen with good intentions of surprising my wife with the connectivity/controllability feature. After several attempts of using different emails, power cycling the lights and following troubleshooting guides online I gave up. They’re going back to home depot and I’m getting some “dumb” recess trims. Products should not released until thoroughly tested Eaton! Back to the drawing board.

  • SO SLOW

    I cannot express how slow this app is. Do not buy these lights. It takes me 5 minutes per light if I wanted to turn on my lights, after taking 5 minutes to log in, and I’m using 4 separate lights because they won’t sync. One light is using two separate buttons while another light won’t turn on or off at all and won’t show up on the list to claim. Going to take these lights out of the ceiling and go back to Legrand.

  • Connecting to your smartphone resolve

    If you have difficulty connecting to your programmable switch despite resetting the equipment, follow these instructions: -Close the circuit breaker for 5 minutes before restarting it. -Connect again with the app and make sure your Bluetooth is on -Then choose the "Reconnect Mesh" option to reconnect your switch to your smartphone.

  • Quit

    The floodlights works good for about a week with the app. Now when I turned them on I can no longer get them to shut off. The color of the led light changes to a warmer color but not off. Tried resetting, reinstalled app etc. nothing works. Very disappointed. If I can’t get them to work they are going back!!

  • Doesn’t work..at all

    The app tells you to click the screen to add a light or switch but it’s greyed out and doesn’t do anything. Then if you go to set a schedule it only allows you to randomize the times and they all end at 11 pm not allowing the light to stay on over night. If you hit save then the app just crashes. The app just flat out doesn’t work from start to finish. I can’t even get it to attempt to try to connect to my switches.

    I’ve tried logging out and back in and have uninstalled it and re-installed it twice.

  • Poor app

    Got these last week. Set up in shower, my intention was to set color and brightness and leave them that way and control with wall switch. Lights look good but the app rarely connects then lights flash twice when I turn on wall switch. Can’t get app to open in order to troubleshoot, it just sits there “connecting” but never does. I would keep them since I have them set the way I want but the flashing is annoying.

    This was a good idea but needs work. I’m going to return to Home Depot.

  • Very Disappointed

    I see a lot of apologizing by the developers in the reviews for the problems but its been a year since an update has been released so have to assume they are abandoning this product. Initially I was going to do my entire house with these lights but fortunately I only purchased and installed 10 lights as a trial. Guess I need to look at alternatives which is unfortunate because I had high hopes for this product.

  • Horrible App

    I never write reviews, however I am so frustrated that I purchased numerous switches and lights for the purpose of using my iPhone 11 to control the lighting in my entire home and it doesn’t work at all. I spent hours installing them and now will be spending hours removing. Service is very good but you can only say you are sorry so many times. The temporary work around is removing other Bluetooth devises?? I have no Bluetooth devises on and still doesn’t work.
