Awesome game but new update is frustrating
Game is so good when you’re trying to kill time but you used to have three chances and now you only get two, that’s a little frustrating considering you’ve made the game a little harder with the addition of a bird and a key to unlock the holes.Lol113445674
A 5 Star Game, Ruined by an Update!
This is so ridiculous, I got the game for free, played for a week or so & LOVED it so much that I bought the “Ad Free Version” I played the game All Time! Great, mindless fun! Then an update came along & you could get an extra shot 1 time for watching a video, I feel that is worth it, but that was after 3 shots & you got 1 chance to continue. Then this update came & we got “skins & balls” I thought cool, then I opened the game & the all knowing idiots took away a shot & every time you have to watch a “BS AD” to get a 3rd shot! This is just about the worst update to a game that I have seen! I paid my $ to not see ads, now the developer is forcing me to watch ads to a get 3rd shot! It’s now a game I’m considering deleting from my phone & getting a refund of my $ that I paid to get a “Ad Free Version” Give us back our game the way we love it & I will change my review completely! You went from the top to bottom w/ one update! That might be a record! Fix It or I’m done w/ your games!Show lessBiggieBrooks
Too many ads

Good game that is now broken because of updates
When I first downloaded the game, I was surprised to find that there were very few ads, only popping up once you ended your game. I felt like this was a great use of ads, as it didn’t distract from the game. However, an update added a lot more ads, popping up after a few holes. It really took the fun out of the game. They added balls that you could earn, but that took a guaranteed shot away from you, possibly ruining your run. But some people like that stuff so I was fine with it. This last update, ruins the game. I had to actually look up the update notes, which feel like a lie. These “minor bug fixes” take away a shot from you (you had three, and now you have two). This makes a huge difference, as three was a perfect number for casual gameplay, allowing you to make a mistake or two. They’ve also added birds, which I stupidly thought would earn me a free shot if I hit it...nope. I hate that I had to delete this game, but I doubt a company that made these decisions will revert them. Don’t download and stop giving four starsShow lessSoccarp

Like others reviewing since the recent update, I would gladly have given this game five stars. The simplicity and ease of play were extremely enjoyable and provided both essentially 'infinite' fun and just enough satisfaction.
That being said, the update has truly ruined this game for me. I appreciate the desire to build revenue through ads. I accepted those that were there before the update as part and parcel of a free game which I enjoyed playing. Now, players have been taken advantage of, forced to watch twice the ads to play the game at all. Let alone the needless and frankly frustrating addition of keys and birds which must (or must not?) be avoided. Why?
Finally, I find it absurd that the developers would so misrepresent the nature of the update by titling it 'minor fixes' or what have you. Had I known what the update entailed, I certainly would have avoided it. I can only imagine the developers knew this and so lied to the people who were already playing their game and generating them (apparently not enough) ad revenue.
This has been the most frustrating update to any iPhone game I have played, and has, unless removed, irrevocably ruined the game for me. I would strongly advise against downloading this game, and take any review which does not treat the update with the incredulity and insult it deserves with a fair few grains of salt.

Was a good game, but they made it bad
The game was fun. I played it quite a bit. It was just a simple game that I could play for about ten minutes while waiting for my next class to start, but I hadn’t played it for a few days and I come back and the game is just worse.
Mainly. They took away the third ball. It made sense having the three ball system where you could watch an ad to keep going if you felt the need to. But the game has been ruined because if you don’t nail your first shot and it goes off the back, you have to get a hole in one and some holes that’s pretty difficult. And then you can choose to watch an ad to keep going. Absolutely not. I was fine watching ads after every game. It was annoying but I understood, hey it’s a free game so it’s fine, but to make your game worse to force people to watch more ads is just stupid.
Anyway, you just lost a player. You took a simple game that could pass the time and turned it into a way where you can just force people to watch more and more ads. No thanks.Show lessSkipper2399
This game WAS perfect, until now.
I’ve had my iPhone X for quite a while now, ever since it came out. And recently, I was in the market to try some new games. I stumbled upon this game and I fell in love! It was fun, addicting, and straight to the point. It was so fun, I purchased the Ad-Free version because I loved the game so much for what it was. In the game, you get 3 chances to get the ball into the hole, and you had the option of watching an ad for a 4th attempt. I had no problem with this because there are plenty of times in the game where you’ll need another go. HOWEVER, in the recent update, they brought it down to 2 strokes to make it in and you have to watch a video to get a 3rd attempt. It alters the game play so much because now you have limited chance of winning. And while it may not seem like much, it seems greedy to make people watch an irrelevant video about a game they’ll never play to attempt to sink it in the hole on a 3rd try when it was standard before. Those who have played it will understand. I hope they patch this in a future update but for now, as subtle as an adjustment as it was, it stripped away my will to play and it isn’t as enjoyable as it was just a few days ago. This was one of my favorite games.
I absolutely loved infinite golf before the most recent update. With no word or update notes other than minor fixes, they add multiple things to levels AND take away one of your shots. The addition of the locks, birds, etc would have been a FANTASTIC update if we still had 3 shots. How can I go for a bird when I’m going to have to hit a hole in one after? The day of this update I was planning on coming to leave a 5 star review. With the removal of one of the balls the game feels ruined for me, and for many other people from what I’ve read on here and heard from my friends. Game was good you use to get 3 shots and could get high scores now they have increased difficulty which is fine but also decreased shots to 2 and added obstacles like birds and targets to hit before getting it in the hole.
At end of level tap to skip is an option which leads to adverts anyway even if you choose to not continue that run. Tap to skip should always skip any adverts etc. If I have to watch an advert anyway I want a free ball or turn. Remove ads from tap to skip to improve. Will be deleting app now.Show lessNateshot3
