i was anxious to buy myself extra glasses, and my dad was being lazy when it came to calling my eye doctor and finding out what my prescription actually was, so i figured id buy this and then buy a cheap pair of glasses to see how accurate this was and you know what, it did pretty well. my left and right eyes have completely different prescriptions and it definitely did better on my left seeing as that is my worse eye, but my right is okay. i think that eye might just have a plastic lense with no perscription in my regular pair, so i cant be sure. either way, i can see out of them and i dont have to return them. definitely recommend thisz

It’s Alright
I was very excited to see that I could scan my glasses to get the prescription. This app looked simple enough so I decided to try it. I had to spend almost an hour doing the test because it kept telling me I did not do the scan right even though I followed all the instructions. Instead of telling me what I was doing wrong on the scan it kept asking me if I wanted to contact customer support. When I went to click on the customer support button it did nothing. The support button would light up acknowledging me tapping it but nothing would pop up and the screen wouldn’t change. It finally took one of my scans but it was a headache to get.

Hi there, we encourage you to try again the app following these instructions: - Hold the glasses from the edge of the lens itself, in your dominant hand. - Tilt the glasses slowly forward, then back (not up and down), on a two count. - Make sure to hold your glasses parallel to the screen, and not at an angle, and that you can see the targets in the center of the screen clearly through your glasses. - Make sure you glasses are clean, and there are no bright backlight or reflections in your surroundings.
Absolutely perfect
I used this app to scan my glasses (I can see perfectly but they were getting scratched up) and was so excited that I immediately ordered 3 pairs of glasses.
The next day it occurred to me that I put an awful lot of trust in this app with just one try— I figured I should have tried it several times and compared results. I fully expected that it must have been too good to be true and was worried about the glasses I’d ordered…

Amazing!!!
I was super skeptical using this app but I decided to give it a shot. I didn't want to be spending $100 on an eye exam and had an old pair of glasses where the prescription was still good. I ordered new glasses with the scanned prescription and wow. The prescription is perfect. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. This app is amazing!! Thank you!

Skeptical At First But....
Alright, so I was hella skeptical of this app but I figured it was worth a shot so I took a chance and used this to figure out my prescription (since I am too much of a wuss to just call my Doctor).
Anyways, I followed the instructions and got my prescription perfectly!! I did this process about 5 times just to make sure, because I’m personally very paranoid, but turns out I got the right prescription on the first try! Did get 2 duds on my quest with this app so I’d recommend you to test this out a couple of times. Other than that, it was an easy process and I definitely recommend this app!!

Just go to the optometrist.
Ive been sitting in front of a computer for over an hour trying to scan my glasses. The image being scanned is either “too blurry” when it is actually the camera focusing and refocusing continuously (even though the camera is completely still), the loading process getting stuck at 98%, or the app just crashes all together. Just book an eye exam and save yourself the headache, this is my second day trying to scan my glasses and the app seems broken.

You know how you become skeptical about an app because the reviews are TOO positive? That’s how I felt looking at this app. My impression of this app’s functions seemed far out of reach to achieve, but I was slapped in the face by this app because of how wrong I was. This is insanely accurate and I’m so glad that I was wrong and was willing to try this out!

The scanner is terrible. It takes forever to actually scan the QR code/box with dots, and the repetitive ai voice telling me instructions (THAT. I. AM. FOLLOWING.) is infuriating.
Otherwise this is a great app. If these two issues (length of time it takes scanner to scan, stupid ai) were fixed it would be a 5 star app
