  • Review of Online Appointment

I started feeling terrible yesterday afternoon after babysitting to family members that ended up having strep throat. I’m very susceptible to strep throat. I get it every year twice a year when the seasons change from warm to cold and vice versa I just knew it was gonna happen again, but tried to block it from my mind all week last night I woke up with a fever can’t swallow. It have white pus pocket on the left side of my tonsils. I have to work today at 6 AM. I jumped online at 4:30 AM. Found this website. My appointment was at 5:15 the doctor jumped on at 5:15 no waiting no hassle, they built my insurance. We talked for 10 minutes going over my symptoms after we went over my history and she’s calling in an anabiotic to the pharmacy across the street from my home on my first break. I’ll run over there and get the anabiotic amazing healthcare at your fingertips, it’s well worth 1699 a month if you’ve ever had strep throat, you know

  • Useless — don’t waste your money

The two doctors I met with were good, albeit very rushed. Everything else about PlushCare is awful. My main complaints: 1. I spent so much time waiting on the phone to try to get answers to simple questions about prior authorization forms required by my insurance. The people who answer the phone have no knowledge of how insurance works, what’s covered, etc. Do they get any kind of training or does the company hire any random people who are willing to work for minimum wage? 2. Why bother spending hours on hold? Because when you send a message through the app, you get a generic response that doesn’t actually answer your question so you’re essentially forced to call in order to speak to a human. 3. Unlike every other doctor’s office / physician group I’ve been to, PlushCare doesn’t actually interact with your insurer or your pharmacy benefit manager to sort out problems. If you’ve got a good understanding of how to fill out prior authorization forms, get medications approved, etc, please feel free to spend your time fighting with your insurer on your own behalf. But if you ever need any sort of support from PlushCare, you are out of luck. They will not do anything to help you whatsoever. TLDR: Don’t bother giving PlushCare your money. It’s absolutely useless. I have no idea why the app’s ratings are so high.

  • Incredible Service

I am a 60 yr old woman who does not have Tim to show up at. Dr’s office where they require me to show up on time but keep me waiting because the Dr is running 45 min to an hour late. It has always disturbed me that I am required to show up at my appt time out of respect for the physicians time, but they have absolutely no respect for my valuable time I have also used Dr on Demand. When it began they focused on customer service. The last time I contacted Dr on Demand not only did they charge me for the time with a General practitioner, where I was told my prescription was being sent to the pharmacy, when in fact not only was it not sent to the pharmacy but I was sent a letter 24 hours later that I was required to book another appt with a Psychiatrist at $300 dollars for 45 minutes. although the medication I was requesting is used primarily for depression, that is not the reason that I use it . I could even understand if I was requesting a new medication that I had never taken, but I had been on this medication for the past three years that is well documented through the same pharmacy I have always used.
My experience with this practitioner here was delightful, I was asked all relevant and pertinent questions pertaining to my health what medication I’ve been on, etc. this doctor was incredibly relevant and fully up-to-date on what other uses the requested medication is prescribed for.
