Hardware good/software bad
The speaker sounds great, but the Alexa interface is a joke. Keep the speaker, delete the app. I only gave one start so I could write a review. I give this app/technology minus 5 stars. Great idea, bad implementation. I'm happy I brought the speaker on sale.

Seems to be ok, helps setting the bar up... I’d like to be able to control the volume from my phone/app... get it done team!

Why can’t I control my Polk command bar from here?
My tv is older. I can’t do ARC. I would love to control my Polk Sound bar from an app.
I can’t see if my volume is at 50% or 70% or even tell what settings are on anything.
If I could see it on the phone I wouldn’t need to guess or try to figure out how to see it on screen which I cannot do.

Completely useless
Forced to install to set up wifi. After that, there are no options or information about the bar. What’s the point?!
Broken, crashes, good bar but awful app
The bar itself and subwoofer is great, this app continues to crash when trying to connect. Love the bar, not the software.
The app won’t logon to my network
I keep getting a message that my password must be incorrect. I’ve been trying for 3 days to connect. The sound bar itself has great sound but I bought it to work with Alexa which won’t work . Should have just bought a good soundbar

I have read reviews and have the same problem.
What I don’t understand is the lack of response from the app support. Are they not read the complaints? Are you working on these issues. Returning, unfortunately we like the sound but what a pain it is to re-pair every time you turn the television back on. The lack of interest and response of App Support offers little confidence that the unit itself will function for any length of time.

Can I Give Zero Stars?
Let’s be clear. The Polk SOUND Bar is wonderful. Premium audio. The Alexa Built-In feature is pure garbage. Not a day goes by where I don’t get the Red Ring of Hell and Alexa yells “Sorry, I’m having trouble understanding right now”, and I have to re-pair the system with my WiFi all over again. And when Alexa does work, she tells me “I don’t know how to do that yet”, because Polk didn’t wait to get the full panoply of commands built in a regular Echo Dot can do. PLEASE, fix this!!!!
