Good overall UI and met a lot of likeminded people

I went into it thinking I would just meet bot after bot like other apps but much to my surprise I’ve only met real people who actually share the same musical taste as me! meeting people to go to concerts with, jam together with other musicians and even meeting a couple females for a night out. Great app I’d highly recommend for anyone who hasn’t had luck on any of the other sites this one has given me nothing but good people and great times. 10/10

Hello, thank you for your review! We are glad that you enjoy the app :)

Suggestion

Great app concept but I would suggest changing the way the match system works. Make it similar to hinge which will allow users to like one of the persons pictures and the person whos picture was liked has the option to match and start chart from there. Subscription would be better if likes that users can send were limited and a subscription lifts the like limitation until the subscription expires. Monthly Subscription could include boosting that is given every week with the unlimited likes limitation too and weekly subscription would just allow for like limit to be lifted. Just a suggestion but im currently paying for the app does not really feel like its moneys worth after viewing all my likes and accepting them it gets boring I want to be able to instantly be able to message a person if i have a subscription since they cant see their likes until they pay its non sense.

Hello, We are sorry to hear that you are not having a good experience on Turn Up. We will investigate the problem you encountered. Have a nice day

don’t have premium/unlimited so expensive?

This literally didn’t make sense why such a cool app would price their prices so high. I genuinely hate when apps try to charge more then even $8 for something like that a month. They actually expect $18-$20 for this app (for even just a month) that you can’t entirely use without the premium or unlimited (which just so happens to be separate, which is also weird to me, never seen that) because no one can see that you like them and you only get a limited amount of direct messages before they ask you for even more money somewhere else, WHICH IS $10 FOR ONLY 3 DIRECT MESSAGES. Are you actually kidding? Just the prices are way too outrageous, especially for someone tryna save my money but also for someone just trying to find friends. Friends don’t have money value, I don’t get why I’m paying enough money to cover an actual meal I could have at a restaurant to just make friends… its just sad. I really was excited for this app till I saw that 🤷

Hello, The subscription allows you to save time, but you can very well match and meet people in music by using the free version of the app, it's up to you. At least you can test the service for free, it is not always the case :)

Should be called Turn Up Metal

If you’re a metal head then this is the app for you.
Not enough diversity or options or search filters to find people who appreciate other genres.

It’s ok

I love the concept it’s a great way to connect with people through a common interest of music artists I just wish there where more people with the same music taste as me.
Not a lot of people on this app yet

Hello, Thanks a lot for your review, we're glad you enjoy the app :)

First and final dating app I used.

Love the concept!

Decided to use this back in Jan 2023.
Made a lot of new friends from this app it’s crazy, but most importantly I met my boyfriend who I have now been with for over a year.
I found exactly who I was looking for using this app.

The questions and the fact that you can put what concerts/festivals you plan to attend help show you a persons personality, perfect for alternative people. Maybe my opinion is bias as a female, I imagine dating apps are very easy for us to navigate.

I’m forever grateful for this app. ❤️‍🔥🤘🏻

Pretty good

Cool idea to base a dating app around music taste

Hello, Thanks a lot for your feedback :)

Age range inaccurate

I saw many ads for Turn It Up saying jt was available to 17+ and the AppStore similarly says this. I was exited to finally have an app I as a 17y/o could access only to find it isn18+.
Please clarify this on either ads or the AppStore.

Response from developer

Hello, sorry for the confusion. The app is indeed 18+

just use tinder

theres literally no one on this app and they expect people to pay for it 🤣

Response from developer

Hello, Depending on your filters, your age, your location and your music tastes, the number of people can vary a lot! You can still use the app for free if you don't feel like paying for it, but please don't spread bad vibes around :/

Disappointed

I’ve recently made the discovery of this app. Great concept, easy use (in my opinion), very large selection of artists to put on your profile.

HOWEVER I’ve made the Brillant discovery that in order to see your Dates/Matches you HAVE to get some subscription. Because now we must pay a certain 17$ in order to see potential dates! Yes, this is totally the future of dating. Oh, and for some reason the application doesn’t give the simple option to see how the Premium even benefits. I applaud you.
