Not enough profiles
This is a cool app but you run out of profiles very quickly and it keeps wanting me to adjust my search filters but I have adjusted everything and it is not possible to get any more results when swiping through :( it’s kinda hard to find people who like the same artists as you when mine are very specific and there’s almost no other profiles who like them but I guess that’s just me?

Brilliant app
I really like this app, the idea to match via music tastes is brilliant. Actually finding people with similar interests is a refreshing change to all the other apps. It reminds me a little of old school MySpace, with a matching algorithm. I’d really like to see this developed further.
I am a little confused by the ‘like’ system with regard to completing someone’s ‘quiz’.
As I understand, when someone likes you and you like them, or if you respond to each others messages, then you match. However, after taking the quiz and sending a message, some people instantly appear in my matches section; I am confused because I have not had any outstanding profile likes by other people. The messages show as not read and they have not replied. How has this match occurred?

Not bad, but notification’s have always been broken
The App idea is really good, and an original unique idea.
However since day one, the notifications have never worked properly, as in that you don’t get a message notification on the app icon like you do all other apps. You do get a notification pop up, but if you’re busy or miss it, then you don’t know you have a message as there is nothing on the app icon to tell you.
I raised this 2 years ago with their support, yet its still not been added which is odd as every other app known to man has this.

Not the typical dating app
Music test are fun, I like the fact that is not the typical dating app… also that includes events that you could potentially meet up with people.

Disappointing
When I first saw this app, I thought it was going to be amazing, but that hype soon died down when I installed it. For starters, you can’t even see who swiped you without a subscription, which (I think) is the whole point of this app. You can’t even communicate with them in any shape or form. Next, I’ve only found one person since I downloaded this app a few weeks ago. And they probably can’t even see that I swiped them. All I want is to see and chat with whoever swiped me. If need be, lower the amount of favourite songs and artists limit. No one using this app has 50 favourite artists. Sorry about this rant, but I’m very passionate about music and thought this app was revolutionary. Just disappointing.

Hello, sorry to hear that you're disappointed. The subscription allows you to save time, but you can very well match and meet people in music by using the free version of the app, it's up to you. At least you can test the service for free, it is not always the case :)

I really love the concept and some ideas implicated in this app that brings people together based on their exclusive music tastes. Question; Is there any other way to view profiles of those who sent likes to you or must you pay?

Hello, you can view the profiles of those who sent you likes in the "likes" section, but it's only a premium feature indeed! Otherwise, you will find them among the profiles you see
Decent app
Wasn’t sure if it was just going to be filled with bots or not but it’s not too bad, could do a bit more to prevent them as it’s about a 1 bot for every 3 people which is definitely better than most other apps that aren’t the usual tinder, bumble etc, overall can recommend

Good App but a little overpriced
The app is good. Have been using it to make new friends with people who are into the same music as me and have already found a few great people and I’m sure it will be even better once more people sign up to it.
However, I find that the price of the subscription is a little high. The high price means less people are likely to sign up, send messages and likely just leave their account without checking the app anymore. I think if the price was lower and maybe more features are added, then there may be an increase of overall user downloads and activity.

it’s pretty good, but i have a suggestion
so i’ve been using turn up for about a week and honestly it’s pretty solid, i’ve made a few cool friends and i love the idea of how music is what connects us to people with a similar ear, all in all it’s a great app! however i wanted to see if maybe some where down the line a couple of new features could be added starting off with the option of voice chat or voice messages, now i love the communication but it would be nice to be able to hear and talk with someone before sending any personal information, not to mention the more in depth you feel with the person. also, i wanna touch on the security. i feel like a verification from the profiles would be a safe route to go. the scam and catfish profiles are about a third of the users on this app and although there is a report option for it, it would help decrease the number of scam or catfish accounts that are active in the app altogether. but besides those two things from my personal experience, this app has pretty good potential and i can see with a couple of more updates and added features it can very well be a top app

The concept is great but there should be a global option for people like me who live in the middle of nowhere and want friends
