Low Quality
This Company and system they use is horrible. When the alarm is activated it does not alert law enforcement. My outside cameras disconnected because I updated my WiFi, still having issues with connecting it back. They make you sign a 5 year contract to keep you locked in, horrible idea. Missing features
This app does not record events when alarm is disarmed. This is common in most systems. The only way to know is to get annoying notifications. I just want it recorded in history. Second there is NO warning for ‘door left open’ or ‘arming reminders’. These are serious and helpful features missing from the app. I hope you add these soon.Show lessMSColonna

More functionality would be helpful
App works well on iPhone for me. Would really like to see Apple Watch and CarPlay capabilities like other leading apps I use frequently. Given the relative ease of doing this given there is already an iPhone app, I’m surprised in 2022 (almost 2023) these are not yet available. Sent company a couple emails on this but there is no feedback loop so unsure if this is on the roadmap.Show lessSea-Moose
Failure: No Alarm function.
As an app designed to control your home’s security alarm, I have to consider it a complete failure when there is no significant notification in the event that the the alarm system is set off at home, through the app. My previous app with Honeywell connect was very good to notify me through the app as the alarm was tripped. I have found no such function or capabilities with the Alula app. An update is desperately needed.Show lessAdilato
Best thing since sliced bread
I love the Alula app. To be able to arm / disarm and receive notification of all activities on my phone is a convenience I never knew I needed. Well worth the upgrade.GillPen
Ok app, notifications aren't great (feature request)
App is alright, if a bit slow, but the notifications could use some work.
Specifically it would be great to set different sounds for different events.
At the very least, should be able to use a different sound for the Alula notifications vs every other app on the phone.
Second, having the same generic iOS sound for the doorbell, the alarm is sounding, and a bug flew past the backyard camera at 2am is frustrating.Show lessCMCxxx
One Problem
It’s not ALWAYS capturing all images that go by! I see cars, and sometimes the mailman, but they are not captured. Sometimes there are images, but Alula says there were no images for that day! Why?Vicki SM
Reliable and easy to use
Arming and disarming the system is easy with the app. Don’t know how we got along without it. No more wondering if the system is armed or notsugarplumfan
Bad customer service
I called the alarm company that the app makes me bypass some of the secured area of my house in order to set the alarm, they were nonchalant about it. However, they’re quick to automatically take my money from my account. I’m literally sick and tired of all this companies that all they want is the money and no service.
