Inaccurate data
This app is supposed to be helping the drivers of DSP’s understand what they are doing wrong on the road and keeping track of their number of routes they have done. As a manager of a DSP we take this very seriously and when I have drivers out their running routes and their data isn’t being uploaded it is not fair. Plus I have drivers being hit with things on this app when they shouldn’t be. I have wrote in multiple times to get this fixed and their has been no change. Now my own account is saying that I haven’t taken a trip since January 22 and I know that’s a lie because whenever I am at work I am out on the road helping my team. Please fix this problem! Trash can app
I don’t really need to say anything negative because the other 3k+ bad reviews say everything that’s wrong with this app.
Simply put, yes this app is garbage. Will hit you with infractions without reason and just claim “it’s trying to make you a safer driver”.
Never mind little Timmy’s life I just saved by “hard breaking” when he ran into the road. There’s an infraction to hurt your score.
Never mind pulling out onto a busy road from a side road and trying to reach a safe speed of travel to match with the flow of traffic. You go over 3k rpm’s in a big van cause they accelerate slower, there’s a “hard acceleration” infraction to hurt your score.
Yes this app is complete nonsense and shouldn’t be the standard of use. But some blame is also on your dsp for using such a dysfunctional app in the first place and trusting it.
When it comes down to your lively hood because you can’t get routes or bonuses because of a crappy app, there’s a problem.

Too bad I can’t give 0 stars. This app is complete trash. The events logged are skewed by the slightest jerking motion in your car. Don’t go over a speed bump, you might get hit with hard acceleration, hard cornering, and hard braking all at once 🙄 Try contacting support and they just hit you with a canned response explaining why events are logged. They don’t care that you’re trying to tell them that the events logged never actually happened. Tbh, I don’t think the developers of this app have ever ridden in a car. Let alone did ANY testing in a vehicle while designing the app. Worst of all, this score affects our ability to get a bonus. Thanks for screwing us over Mentor!!!Show lessKosherHamm

I’ve never seen something so ridiculously inaccurate. I’d love to see the owners of these DSP companies get a perfect score or better yet, come out and run a route at the same time expectations they put on us without the ability to take their 30 minute lunch break like has happened to me or barely even the ability to take a bathroom break. Completely inaccurate
It has so I many glitches I know I drive completely safe and not wreck less and this app saying I drive at a 3 star rating and i don’t see how or why. I been driving professionally for 6 years I don’t see how. This is pointless.you-leo
Horrible app with no metrics
I turn on the app and stow it away for my entire shift (in a secure location where it can’t accidentally move/slide).
Still get knocks for phone manipulation? How? Because I was on a bumpy road? Why not use phone usage as the metric instead of the gyroscope?
Seatbelt violations when the camera can’t see anything other than a glovebox? Why because the mic didn’t hear the click of the seatbelt?
Or engine off because again you use the mic instead of any real/accurate way of knowing anything.
Maybe pair your craptastic app with an OBD2 scanner then you’ll get accurate engine off and seatbelt data.
Speed data gets to also be a problem since they use bottom of the barrel maps with inaccurate speed postings.
The only thing this app seems to do right is maybe acceleration, breaking and cornering (as long as you have decent network connection and aren’t lagging all over the place)
Over all this app really either needs to cut way back on what they claim they can do. Or completely scrap their current metrics and use accurate data from the vehicle itself.Show lessKasikornLUVScawk

The app is WAY too sensitive in terms of clicking you for supposed “hard acceleration” and “hard braking” in my experience. This isn’t just me complaining. Most drivers think this which is why the app has such a low rating on the App Store. The folks at mentor tend to not care because they know that most companies force their employees to use this app so the negative feedback doesn’t effect them but they should really consider taking the negative feedback into account. It would make everyone’s lives so much easier and it would just be the right thing to do. You are messing with people’s paychecks and it needs to be addressed.Show lessFkdlskc

The only driver data shared with your manager is the data relevant to risk management, meaning your FICO® Safe Driving Score® and driver events (harsh acceleration, braking, cornering, phone distraction and speeding). NO location data or individual trip data is shared beyond you. Changing behavior behind the wheel is tough and overlaying new, safer habits over old riskier ones takes time. Customer service responses are automatic and basic this application is simply a tool to be used to help dispatchers save money they don't care if it is accurate or not, they will under no circumstances change or fix any errors such as a work phone falling due to a non sticky phone holder provided by my job, and it's sad because these scores directly effect getting a route and or bonus money so it can hurt my pocket directly even when I'm driving safe smart and defensive and more than profeccient this application and company should be banned they do no work all they do is a collect a paycheck nothing more.Show lessHonestAnimal217
What is your problem?
Your app is pure garbage. I get dinged on my last trip for 9 phone manipulations. I never once touched my phone one time while I was driving. You ding me because I answered a phone call while I was inside a building? You ding me because I looked at a text on my way back from a building and never once behind the wheel. You ding me because I was sent on a rescue for another driver and I used the GPS on my phone and programmed the address while in park on the side of the road.
