Ridiculous registration process

Was very keen to try this but have been wrestling with their absurdly complex (and glitchy) registration process for the last hour and am finally giving up.

Purely incredible

Thanks to UFOdrive, I could finally fulfil my dream of driving a Tesla! The service level is fantastic, and booking is super simple. The verification process is a bit demanding, but it's worth it! The app itself works flawlessly. It's the best rental service I've ever used.

Racist Company, BIPOC please avoid this service

My booking was great. I really had high hopes for this services. No major issues. The issue came with the return. I communicated to the customer service team that I was running behind for my return time. The customer service agent Christina was very rude. She said return at 5pm or we’re turning the car off. I tried to explain to her that I was not going to be there exactly at 5pm due to traffic. My eta was 6:15pm. For some reason she could not comprehend that. So 5pm passes and she starts manually turning on the heater, steering wheel heater and seat warmers. Mind you LA is in the middle of a summer heat wave. Everytime I turn on the AC she keeps turning the heat on and seat warmers on. The car was getting very hot and at this point I’m dropping in sweat. I had to pull over because I was starting to get heat exhausted. At this point I pleaded with Christina to stop turning on the heat but she refused to do so. She was not allowing me to continue me drive to return the car. I told her that I’m dropping in sweat and it is crazy to be treating a paying customer like that just for being an hour late. So now she threatens me and tells me the police have been dispatched to retrieve the car. THAT IS VERY MUCH OVERKILL FOR A LATE RETURN. The rental agreement states that if your late you get charged a $35 late fee and for the hours you had the car. Police would only be dispatched in the case if the car wasn’t returned 24 hours after the return time. It has only been 2 hours. So now the car is just sitting parked because she won’t allow me to return the car. I’ve rented from numerous car rental service and never have things escalated like this due to me being an hour late. This experience made me feel uncomfortable. They make you take picture everyday to get your virtual key. I definitely feel like me being black was the reason why she escalated things so quickly. I advise any BIPOC to avoid using this service.

Doesn’t work at all to register, horrible UX get a real dev team

I’m at the airport after I made a booking and I can’t even register on the app. Horrible UX you should be ashamed I can’t even upload my license or documents

A joke

They can’t verify a real drivers license and no one knows how to fix it. A joke of a service. Their investors should ask for their money back.

Goo experience

I had a great experience,my only complaint is that car has been stored in a garage so when I picked up the car it was a lil dirty on the outside other than that everything was great

UFO Tesla Model Y

We wanted to use a model Y for a whole day so we could decide whether it would work for us before buying one.
At very short notice I arranged to rent one for a day from Canary Wharf.
The whole thing was pretty seamless from start to finish. I would highly recommend UFO rental and would use again.
By the way we loved the car and will be ordering one.

Great experience!

Easy to get the car using app. Driving Tesla Mod Y Performance is fantastic! At first a little bit more work to submit all necessary information and wait for approval. Ta Da! You are ready to pick up without seeing a live person. The customer service agent Cristian thru chat is very helpful! Thank you very much!

Easy, Excellent with some room to improve.

Very easy, conveniently local in new Canary Wharf location. My only qualms was not seeing details regarding £0.25 per additional miles outside prepaid package. Details suggest mileage can be increased or decreased whilst in rental status. App could be better especially when needing to hop out of car to charge and phone is not under arm rest and/or connection is weak/not available.
