  • No scores

    My scores didn’t record
  • Sort of works.

I have attempted to use the app to record my score in three different dates. The app only recorded my score the first time.

Even if the app is working and recoding your scores (which it is not) it only stores your scores for 90 days. Why would they not keep your scores for longer?

This app has so much promise but really falls short. It’s kinda like Strava for bowling except it does not always record your score and does not keep the scores long enough.

I wish I could use this to record my average over time and to also be able to see my average over a specified time (like a stocks chart)
Also wish people could record lane conditions and such.

Thank you for the feedback and comments on how we can improve the app. Remember that in order for the score to be recorded, you have to have entered your email address for a bowler at the lane. We appreciate your comments on how we can improve the app and may consider those items for future enhancements.
  • This app is terrible

This app is terrible. Doesn’t allow you to change everyone’s avatar from your account. Also, I never received my 500 points for downloading the app.
  • No instructions

Tried to use this app twice, neither time did it actually record the scores
  • Games don’t actually exist

Bunch of games in explore games and it says choose from tablet at bowling center, but I can’t find any of them
  • Mostly awesome, but missing an important feature

The app has a lovely UI and the fact that I can track my scores so easily is fantastic. Only two issues I’ve had so far are the following:

•I can’t delete games from my history. I have a perfect 300 that I didn’t earn because my friend edited scores to end the round of bowling and start from scratch. That 300 game is messing up my average, and I can’t delete it. Would love to know if support could help me with this.

•On the kiosk at the bowling alley, I couldn’t find any obvious way to get to the barcode I needed to scan to record my games. The phone says that it needs a QR code but I couldn’t find one in any of the menus. Not sure if the QR code only appears at the beginning of the bowling session, but it’d be nice to have easier access. (I was able to record these scores by just sending them to the same email, so this issue is rather trivial. Initially I wasn’t sure if they would be recorded though.)

  • Very Handy!

This is such a convenient way to see what the centers around me offer, if they have specials, and a great way to interact with others! A great tool for the operators too!

  • Found new place to bowl!

Found a new place with app did not know was even there with bowling and an arcade! Very cool!
  • Incredible!

I’ve used this app at multiple centers. It works smooth, QR is fast, and cannot believe there’s an app for bowling! Well done.

Thank you for the feedback. We love watching guests enjoy all OpenLane has to offer. Just so you know, you can now see your picture on many of the different scoresheets/games, not just Pinpix!
  • AMAZING!

I got cash points just for signing up!!!! My first 100 game also got me cash points. Unbelievable!!!! I used the WaitList to get in line for a lane and was notified via push notification that our lane was clean and ready to roll. Once we got down there, we all used the app to customize our bowling experience with names and avatars using the app without touching the tablet. That is big in Covid times. So excited what will come next. Food and Beverage ordering? Prepaid reservations? Exciting!!!!
